Via The Hill:

The ad goes on to accuse Obama of "growing our debt faster than our economy" and uses footage of the president on the campaign trail in 2008 to depict him as hypocritical on spending.

In March 2012, CBS reported "The National Debt has now increased more during President Obama's three years and two months in office than it did during 8 years of the George W. Bush presidency.'
