House Democrats Receive Training On How To Racially Divide America For November Elections

By Susan Duclos

The person House Democrats received the training on how to play the race card from, is Maya Wiley of the Center for Social Inclusion, and one specific statement describes the tactics she is training House Democrats to use.

"Don't make the mistake of telling them they're in the problem. It's emotional connection, not rational connection that we need."

According to materials obtained by Campaign 2012, statements from Wiley were distributed at a meeting of the House Democratic Caucus.

According to Wiley's group's website, "right-wing rhetoric has dominated debates of racial justice – undermining efforts to create a more equal society, and tearing apart the social safety net in the process" for over 25 years. Wiley had been invited to run the Democrats "through their strategy and how they message and talk about stuff" pertaining to race and fiscal policy, a staffer for Rep. Barbara Lee, D-Calif., explained.

As samples of race-coded rhetoric, Wiley reminded the Democrats of statements by Republican presidential candidates Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich. Of Gingrich's famous comment about President Obama, her distributed remarks note, "Calling a Black man 'the food stamp president' is not a race-neutral statement, even if Newt Gingrich did not intend racism."

Using the reference of Obama as the food stamp president is a perfect example of how Democratic party leaders are attempting to play the race card to distract from the truth of that Obama "food stamp president" moniker.

After Gingrich nicknamed Obama the food stamp president, liberals howled about how racist that was, despite data which showed that food stamp benefits and usage spiked to all time high levels under the Obama's regime. (Source- CNN Money) That was in 2011.

More:

The number of people in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program has soared to an average 44.7 million in fiscal 2011, up 33% from fiscal 2009. Obama's stimulus act made it easier for childless, jobless adults to qualify for the program and increased the monthly benefit by about 15% through 2013.

In fiscal 2011, the federal government spent more than $75 billion on food stamps, which provided an average monthly benefit of $133.85 a month, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. That's up from $34.6 billion at the end of fiscal 2008, when recipients collected an average benefit of $102.19.

Icing on the cake, the Obama administration has paid $5 million to one state for "its efficiency in adding food-stamp recipients to already bulging rolls."

The very fact that House Democrats would take a course on how to portray the GOP as racists, claiming "code words" are being used, shows how desperate they are to run away from their agenda, their numbers, their policies creating a food stamp nation with high unemployment, a stalled economy, and a healthcare bill that is still opposed by the majority of Americans, which at the time they hailed as Obama's signature accomplishment.

They have nothing left. Rationality not needed, just emotion says Ms. Wiley to Dems.

Telling the truth about Barack Obama has nothing to do with the color of his skin and everything to do with his socialist, nanny state policies.
