Democrat Jack Conway Hits New Low For Dems

Democrat Jack Conway produced an ad against Republican challenger Rand Paul that has hit a new low, even for Democrats that have sunk lower and lower as the midterm elections near with even other Democratic politicians calling it "dangerous".

The Politico explains:

Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) said Monday that a controversial ad run by Democratic Senate nominee Jack Conway in Kentucky is "very dangerous" and "came close to the line" of appropriateness.

McCaskill, who said as recently as Sunday she believed Conway could pull out a victory in Kentucky, told reporters on MSNBC's Morning Joe that she had some concerns about the ad that attacks tea party-backed Rand Paul's religion by citing an alleged incidence in college when Paul asked a woman to worship an "Aqua Buddha."

"Candidates who are at behind at the end reach and sometimes they overreach," McCaskill said. "This ad is a very dangerous ad because it reaches back to college... I think the ad came close to the line."

The ad was also address by Rand Paul at the debate between himself and Conway, video below H/T to Hot Air, where Paul asks Conway "Have you no decency? Have you no shame?".

Paul refused to even shake Conway's hand. Rightly so.

According to Real Clear Politics averages, Paul is ahead of Conway by 5.3 percent in the polls.
