After the recent brouhaha where popular liberal radio talk show host called Hillary Clinton and Geraldine Ferraro "big f'ing whores", at a public appearance on behalf of Air America and Air America suspending her, they just announced that she has quit.
Today on the Air America website, they announce that Randi Rhodes has quit.
Last week Air America suspended Randi Rhodes for abusive, obscene language at a recent public appearance in San Francisco which was sponsored by an Air America affiliate station.
Air America Media was informed last night by Ms. Rhodes that she has chosen to terminate her employment with the company.
We wish her well and thank her for past services to Air America. We will soon announce exciting new talent and programming that will accelerate Air America’s growth in the future.
After Air America suspended Rhodes, she went on record alleging that Air America violated her contract, telling Jeff Norman at Huffington post, "They are in breach of my contract and have damaged my hard won excellent reputation in the broadcast industry."
Reports are coming out to say she will be back on the air for KKGN/San Francisco.
I wonder how long before she drives them into bankruptcy.
