al-Qaeda's Zawahri Attacks Obama Again In Audio Release

We have always maintained that it did not matter who was elected President in the eyes of al-Qaeda, they would continue to try to destroy America and attack America's interests across the world because we are a free nation and are willing to sacrifice greatly to help others be free.

In November Zawahri condemned Barack Obama, via another taped released, calling him a "house negro" as well as his usual rhetoric and now he has released yet another audio tape, according to CBS News, sayng Obama is following the same policies of George Bush.

Zawahri is not happy with Obama's plans for Afghanistan. Big surprise there.

"America brought us a new face, trying to deceive us yet again. A face that calls for change, but it’s rather calling for us to change, to give up our faith and our rights,” says Zawahri, adding that Mr. Obama’s victory in the U.S. presidential election was an acknowledgement by the American people of, “the failure of the policies of Bush and his gang.”

Zawahri warned that Mr. Obama's "surge" of troops to Afghanistan will only make things worse. “What Obama is seeking to do by increasing the U.S. forces in Afghanistan and continuing to bomb Pakistan will only add more fuel to the fire and expose your soldiers to more killings and injuries."

"What Obama has claimed about negotiating with moderate Taliban is an illusion that he is fooling you or himself with,” added bin Laden's deputy.

Al-Qaeda releases these tapes periodically in the hopes of keeping themselves in the news, which they are doing because it is being reported, but many see it as nothing more than a pathetic substitution for them because their plots around the world against America's interests continue to fail miserably and all they are left with is, producing audio and video tapes.

This is not to say they are not dangerous still, even an idiot that continues to try the same thing over and over again, runs with the odds that something they try will eventually work, even if it works badly, but al-Qaeda appears more and more desperate each time a new tape is released.

With their abject failure in Iraq, they now are focusing again on Afghanistan, so we can expect another release, predictably, in another month or two.
