Sarah Palin Signs Deal To Be Fox News Contributor

That pop, pop, pop sound you hear are heads exploding across the blogosphere as reports of Sarah Palin signing a multi-year contract with Fox News to become a political analyst, hit the media outlets.

The network confirmed that Ms. Palin would appear on the network’s programming on a regular basis as part of a multiyear deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Ms. Palin will not have her own regular program, one person with knowledge of the deal said, though she will host a series that will run on the network from time to time.

This is good move for both Palin and Fox news

For Palin, it gives her the exposure she needs to the Fox Viewership, some already supporters of hers and others who do not believe she is ready for the presidency, many of whom said the same thing about Barack Obama and find themselves vindicated with every bad decision he makes.

She has the opportunity now to be seen growing, learning and having her stances on issues right out there for the massive Fox viewing audience.

For Fox News, this is a definite feather in their cap as the constant controversy surrounding Palin from the far left liberal base will bring them an even larger audience from those that cannot help themselves from criticizing every word Palin utters.

The deal was formally announced on Monday afternoon. Robert Barnett, Ms. Palin’s lawyer, did not respond to a call for comment. “I am thrilled to be joining the great talent and management team at Fox News. It’s wonderful to be part of a place that so values fair and balanced news,” Ms. Palin said in a statement.
