Once again, a wannabe assassin has attempted to murder President Trump. This marks at least the fifth time that a person or group has tried to take Trump’s life since he became the Republican nominee for president in 2016.

During this time period, a Democrat from Illinois tried to assassinate an entire baseball team of Republican lawmakers and nearly succeeded in killing House Majority Whip Steve Scalise. Antifa domestic terrorists — a paramilitary organization supporting the Democrat Party — have destroyed businesses and attacked numerous American citizens for their political beliefs. A “trans”-supporting leftist assassinated the great Charlie Kirk last September 10, and numerous other “trans”-supporting leftists have murdered children in a spate of school shootings. Just this year, Democrats organized multiple violent confrontations against federal agents attempting to arrest criminal illegal aliens — including known pedophiles, rapists, and murderers.

Democrats call for their followers to “rise up,” “take to the streets,” and “get in the faces” of Republicans. Democrat governors and lawmakers call President Trump and his voters “Nazis,” “fascists,” “white supremacists,” and “racists.”

Democrat Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi recently described Trump as “the worst thing on the face of the Earth.”

The Democrat governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, recently traveled to Europe to denounce Trump as a “fascist,” encouraged violence against Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents (whom the governor defames as “Trump’s Gestapo”), called for a “war” against the federal government, and admitted to an audience that he wakes up each morning in giddy anticipation of finding out that Trump has died.

Democrat Congresswoman Dina Titus recently told an audience that Republicans better “hide” because, “We’re coming for J.D. Vance! We’re coming for the MAGA folks! Donald Trump, we’re coming for you! We’re coming for ya. And what a day it’s gonna be!”

Democrat Senator Ron Wyden often calls President Trump and top members of his administration “Nazis” and “white supremacists” who provide “cover for pedophiles.”

Democrat musician Bruce Springsteen has spent the last month recklessly calling federal ICE agents “Nazis” and insulting Trump and his administration as “corrupt,” “racist,” and “treasonous.”

Democrat propagandist-posing-as-network-comedian Jimmy Kimmel not only recently called members of the Trump administration “racists,” “white supremacists,” and “baby Hitlers,” but also “joked” about First Lady Melania Trump soon becoming a widow. He told this “joke” two days before the recent attempt on Trump’s life and only eight months after mocking the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

It is no surprise, then, that the president’s latest wannabe assassin justified committing mass murder by repeating the same lies that Democrat politicians and pundits regularly tell their followers. In a letter stating his intention to murder Trump and members of his administration, the would-be killer described the president as “a pedophile, rapist, and traitor” and accused “the many criminals in this administration” of blowing up school-kids, starving children, and abusing teenaged girls.

Just as in 2017, when Democrats pretended not to know why one of their supporters would try to murder a baseball field full of Republican lawmakers, Democrats now pretend to have no idea why so many of their voters would try to kill the president of the United States.

Even though Democrat politicians, news personalities, and “comedians” encourage violence against President Trump and his supporters every day, as soon as violence occurs, those same Democrats blame Trump and Republicans. Immediately after the latest attempt on the lives of the president and members of his administration, Democrat Congressman Eugene Vindman excused Democrats’ calls for violence against MAGA “Nazis” and instead blamed rhetoric coming from the White House.

Democrat leader of the House, Hakeem Jeffries, insists that the assassination attempts on President Trump are justified because “far right extremists in Congress” provided “aid and comfort” to the J6 protesters who correctly called out the mail-in-ballot fraud that tainted the 2020 election. For four years, Democrats hunted, harassed, and jailed those unarmed protesters, yet still use that single day of protest in D.C. to justify Democrat violence against Republicans across the country.

When a Democrat voter hears Democrat leaders calling the president of the United States a “Nazi,” “rapist,” “pedophile,” and “Russian spy,” how else is that Democrat voter expected to act? When Democrat members of Congress, Democrat governors, and Democrats hosting late-night “news” and “comedy” shows all describe President Trump as, to use Nancy Pelosi’s words, “the worst thing on the face of the Earth,” what do they expect will happen? You don’t call someone a “Nazi” for ten years, unless you want that person assassinated. You don’t frame someone as a “Russian agent,” unless you intend to conduct a coup d’état. To pretend otherwise is just another Democrat lie.

Speaking of liars, disgraced ex-president Barack Obama is trying to claim that the latest wannabe Trump assassin’s “motives” are unknown. Serial liar Obama says this despite the fact that the would-be killer wrote a manifesto echoing Democrat Party lies and expressing an intent to murder President Trump and all those around him. Obama excels at what all Democrat politicians practice as part of their dark arts: He lies; his lies encourage violence; and when violence occurs, he lies about his own culpability for the violence.

As a principal architect of the Russia Collusion Hoax, coup-plotter Obama has his own motive for shamelessly pretending that we “may never know” why someone would attempt to murder President Trump: The former president has done as much as anybody in the world to instigate violent attacks against President Trump.

During his own presidency, Obama helped to initiate the Democrats’ war on cops. He regularly demonized law enforcement professionals as “racists,” and his meritless attacks on police led to an epidemic of targeted cop assassinations across the country. When President Trump defeated Obama’s heir apparent, Hillary Clinton, both Democrats conspired with former CIA Director John Brennan, former FBI Director Jim Comey, and a web of Democrats inside and outside the Intelligence Community to frame Trump as a Russian agent. That same Democrat cabal worked with Democrat-aligned groups — such as the Southern Poverty Law Center — to frame Trump and his MAGA voters as “white supremacists” and “Nazis.” By leading the efforts to falsely paint President Trump as a “traitor” and “racist,” Obama has repeatedly put a target on Trump’s back. He clearly does not care whether Trump is impeached and removed from office, criminally convicted and imprisoned, or assassinated. Obama just wants him gone for good. There are numerous Democrats whose actions have directly led to the multiple attempts upon President Trump’s life. No Democrat is more culpable than Obama.

Let us not pretend. Had the latest would-be assassin succeeded in murdering President Trump, his family, and members of his administration, a significant percentage of Democrat voters would today be celebrating. Democrat governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, has admitted as much. Democrats all over social media whine every time one of these wannabe murderers fails to succeed! Teachers — including this Cincinnati woman in charge of kindergartners! — express disappointment that President Trump isn’t dead. That should surprise no-one since the man accused of attempting to assassinate President Trump is a teacher, himself!

Ever in “spin mode,” Democrats will continue to pretend that they are not responsible for all these threats to the lives of Trump, his administration, his voters, and law enforcement officers around the country. Right after the latest attempt on the president’s life, Democrats in the press collectively blamed “guns.” Democrat Congressman Jamie Raskin joined Democrat mouthpiece Margaret Brennan to call for a “national conversation” on “gun violence.”

In other words, Democrats call Trump and his voters “Nazis” and “racists.” Democrat voters take those words seriously and attempt to kill Trump and his voters. Then Democrats blame that violence on “guns” and demand that Trump supporters be disarmed. Democrats’ ridiculous cycle of lies and violence would be laughable if it were not also so deadly.

On April 29, 2026, the White House published the release President Trump and the First Lady Welcome King Charles III and Queen Camilla for State Visit Honoring 250 Years of Shared Heritage recognizing that this is the 1st state visit by a British monarch in nearly 2 decades. The visit began with the arrival ceremony (discussed in my April 28, 2026 ANP Article). The President and the King held substantive bilateral discussions. The King also attended a special session of Congress in which he made a well-received speech (even the "no kings protests" Democrats gave the King a 3-minute standing ovation). A state dinner (discussed in my April 29, 2026 ANP Article) finished the day highlighting the enduring cultural, historical, and strategic partnership between the US and the UK. The King and his entourage will depart for the UK on the morning of April 30, 2026.

On April 29, 2026, President Trump participated in a greeting with the Artemis II astronauts. President Trump promised the astronauts a visit to the White House after their safe return from space (discussed in my April 8, 2026 ANP Article). Well, they landed safely (discussed in my April 11, 2026 ANP Article liftoff was discussed in my April 2, 2026 ANP Article). We all know how President Trump feels about "promises made" and he kept the promise today with the astronauts and their families arriving at the White House and being greeted in the Oval Office.

After congratulating the astronauts on a job well done, and giving the press attending the gathering an opportunity to ask questions, the press, as usual gravitated away from the astronauts choosing instead to ask President Trump about Iran, Russia, Ukraine, NATO, and other topics. President Trump deftly returned their attention to the astronauts in most cases.

On April 29, 2026, Day 74 of the Democrat's Partial Federal Government Shutdown, the House passed SCR33 to fund the government through 2035. Not sure what happens with it next. Does it go to the President now or does it have to go back to the Senate because amendments were made? I am woefully ignorant of the games the anti-American politicians in Congress play.

Neither part of Congress has done anything with the SAVE America Act - or any of the other EOs We The People want to see made into law.

The Senate convened at noon and adjourned at 7:07pm. They will reconvene at 10am on April 30, 2026. They voted on 3 bills, passing 1 of them:

PN730-14 - Robert Cekada - Department of Justice. The Senate voted to pass this bill in a vote of 59 to 39 (with 2 members not voting).
SJR139 - A joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Environmental Protection Agency relating to "Air Plan Disapproval; Colorado; Regional Haze Plan for the Second Implementation Period". The Senate voted to reject this bill in a vote of 46 to 52 (with 2 members not voting).
SJR99 - A joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services relating to "Removal of the Automatic Extension of Employment Authorization Documents". The Senate voted to reject this bill in a vote of 47 to 50 (with 3 members not voting).

The House convened at 9am on April 29, 2026 and adjourned at 2:27am on April 30, 2026. They will reconvene at 9am on April 30, 2026. They discussed 4 bills:

HR1224 Providing for consideration of the bills H.R. 7567, H.R. 2616, S. 1318, and H.R. 1346; and providing for consideration of the concurrent resolution S. Con. Res. 33

On April 29, 2026, the White House published the statement America 250: Presidential Message on the Anniversary of the First Landing and the Raising of the Cape Henry Cross (last year this was announced as Proclamation 10926 discussed in my April 30, 2025 ANP Article). On April 26, 1607, a group of 104 adventurers, explores, and settlers landed at Cape Henry, completing a daring voyage across the Atlantic Ocean. The President writes:

Commissioned by King James I and the Virginia Company of London, they were guided by a noble mission: to extend Christendom’s dominion in the New World, secure their prosperity, and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Three days later, they erected a cross on the Chesapeake shore in an act of reverence and devotion to their religion. Reverend Robert Hunt led the prayer upon fixing the cross into the ground. The group then traveled west, establishing Jamestown, the first permanent English settlement in the New World where they would face drought, starvation, and disease. In their survival, America's character was forged. Less than 200 years later, the descendants of this group, and others who joined the cause, founded our Nation on July 4, 1776. President Trump writes:

Today, a granite cross stands in the place of the First Landing in honor of the resilience and heroic Christian witness of the Jamestown settlers. More than 4 centuries later—as we celebrate 250 years of glorious American independence—we follow their example, echo their resolve, and commit to restoring a Nation that honors our rich spiritual inheritance, advances the common good, and offers rightful praise to our Creator above.

In 1935, the Daughters of the American Colonists erected the permanent granite cross marking the first landing in 1607 of the 3 ships.

On April 30, 1789, George Washington (discussed in my February 10, 2026 ANP Article) was sworn in as the first President of the Union on Wall Street in Manhattan in New York City. Robert Livingston, Chancellor of New York, administered the oath.

Today's Patriot is David Wooster who was born March 13, 1711 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. David was born into a Puritan family. He was youngest of 6 children, all of whom survived to adulthood. When the British burned New Haven in 1779, records of David's early life were destroyed. The following is gathered from surviving records. In 1735, he started Yale College graduating in 1738.

In 1739, David joined the colonial militia as a lieutenant. In 1741, he became the lieutenant of the Defense, the first warship built in Connecticut. In 1742, he was promoted to captain. In 1745, he was a Captain during the Siege of Louisbourg during the War of Jenkins' Ear. In July 1745, he sailed to France for a prisoner exchange. On September 24, 1745, he was commissioned as Captain in the garrison at Louisbourg.

On March 6, 1746, David married Marie Clapp (1729-1807) in New Haven, Connecticut. The couple had 4 children, 2 of whom survived to adulthood.

In 1748, he retired when the Treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle returned Louisbourg to the French. In 1750, he helped organize one of the first Masonic lodges in Connecticut. In 1755, David fought in the French and Indian War. He was promoted to colonel of the 3rd Connecticut Regiment. In 1758, his regiment fought at the Battle of Carillon. In 1759, he participated in the successful capture of Fort Ticonderoga. He retired in 1761. In 1763, he became a Customs Collector for New Haven.

By April, 1775, David was in charge of the militia at New Haven, Connecticut. He had tried to deny Benedict Arnold access to his militia's supply house; but, Benedict's threats were persuasive and David gave in, marking the entry of New Haven into the American Revolution. This would become known as Powder House Day. When he was 65, David was the oldest American general in the Revolutionary War (he was 22 years older than George Washington).

On April 25, 1777, David was in charge of a small detachment whose job it was to harry the rear of the British troops. The first attack surprised the British general. As they neared Ridgefield, David's 2nd attack did not fare as well. David was mortally wounded, having been shot through the spine, and taken off the battlefield to Dibble House. This battle is seen as the turning point of the Revolutionary War.

David died May 2, 1777 at age 66, at Dibble House in Danbury, Connecticut. David was insolvent at the time of his death, having used his personal funds to pay his troops. The destruction of records by the British made it impossible for the family to provide receipts in order to reclaim the money David spent. In addition, the family received no pension due to lack of records. He is interred at Wooster Cemetery, in Section C, above the old receiving vault, Danbury, Connecticut. The cemetery was renamed for him when he was reinterred.

On April 28, 2026, the White House published the release CEQ Opens Permitting Innovators Call for Solutions to Industry Partners (discussed in my June 6, 2025, September 30, 2025, January 8, 2026, January 25, 2026, January 30, 2026, April 10, 2026, and April 16, 2026 ANP Articles) through June 2, 2026 at 6pm ET. The release writes:

“America’s innovators have solutions to improve how Federal agencies manage environmental reviews and permitting — and this program gives them a direct path to put those solutions to work,” said Council on Environmental Quality Chairman Katherine Scarlett. “The Trump Administration is about results: faster reviews, smarter systems, and a government that works as well as the technology available to it. We are proud to launch the Permitting Innovators program and look forward to seeing what industry delivers.”

Federal permitting impacts every aspect of your life: road constructions, bridge building, energy infrastructure, data centers, and national security. By expediting the permit process, unnecessary delays are eliminated. This CEQ solution ends the fragmented, outdated, and highly manual process that was once used to process (slowly) permits.

Tech innovators are invited to share tech solutions to accelerate and modernize this permit process. CEQ needs tech to focus on modernization, automation of workflow, digital-first documents, and tools supporting timeline predictability. On April 28, 2026, the White House published the release Democrats’ Unhinged Rhetoric Incites Third Assassination Attempt on President Trump marking the April 25, 2026 attempt as the 3rd assassination attempt in under 2 years. The release states:

The attack was not random; it was the predictable result of years of reckless, inflammatory, and escalating rhetoric from Democrats. By relentlessly smearing President Trump, his Administration, and tens of millions of Americans as “fascists,” “Nazis,” and “threats,” these sick Democrats have created a toxic environment that incites their supporters to violence again and again. As Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said, the manifesto of the would-be assassin reads like Democrat talking points — “indistinguishable from the words we hear daily from their party.”

The following represent only a fraction of remarks that Democrat politicians have made in recent months:

Days before the latest assassination attempt, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries declared Democrats are in an era of maximum warfare, everywhere, all the time against Republicans.
Sen. Chuck Schumer called on his supporters to be forcefully rising up against President Trump.
Gov. Josh Shapiro said heads do need to roll inside the Trump Administration.
Gov. Gavin Newsom urged supporters to punch these sons of bitches in the mouth.
Gov. Tim Walz declared his state is at war with our federal government.
Gov. JB Pritzker proclaimed that Republicans cannot know a moment of peace, urging his lunatic supporters to deploy mobilization and disruption against officials they don’t like.
Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman called to eliminate the President of the United States from the office right now, and the rest of the sycophants in his Administration.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett threatened Republicans: We are gonna be in your face; we are gonna be on your asses.
Sen. Chris Van Hollen demanded Democrats fight this in the streets.
Rep. Dan Goldman claimed President Trump was attempting to take over this country as a fascist dictator.
Rep. Delia Ramirez labeled the Trump Administration as a fascist regime.
Rep. Ayanna Pressley called President Trump a fascist.
Rep. John Larson accused the Trump Administration of deploying the SS and the Gestapo across America.
Sen. Alex Padilla claimed people were dying because of fear and terror caused by the Trump Administration.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren stated President Trump was turning the country into a fascist state.
Sen. Jeff Merkley likened President Trump to a dictator.
Sen. Adam Schiff accused President Trump of using a dictator playbook.
Sen. Ed Markey called President Trump a dictator and authoritarianism on steroids.

President Trump stated that Americans must recommit with their hearts in resolving our differences peacefully.

Reminds me of the comment of our 26th President, Theodore Roosevelt, who said: speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far. In our case, the big stick needs to be your firearm. The unhinged loony left has now expanded their attacks to include whoever is present at whatever event they choose for attempting to assassinate not only President Trump, but now his Cabinet Members also. And they no longer care if there are innocents in the way. From their way of thinking, if you are there you are part of the problem. Don't let them curtail what you do, say, or think; but: be prepared . . . be aware . . . be ready . . . be safe.

On April 28, 2026, the President and the First Lady participated in a greeting with the King of the UK and entourage. In the video below, you will see the arrival of POTUS & FLOTUS, followed by the arrival of King Charles and his entourage. There is a short meet-n-greet as the couples move to the podium. A cannon firing is performed followed by the band playing America's National Anthem. This is followed by the President and King doing a walk through inspection of the troops. Then, the 'Red Coats' band comes through (is this trolling on the part of the President?). The President then gives a speech after which the couples exit to appear on the balcony for the passing of the troops, which ends the event.

On April 28, 2026, King Charles III gave a speech to Congress in which he began by congratulating America on the 250th celebration of the Declaration of Independence. He brought up the EU, ME, & recent attempted assassination which he stated would never succeed. He pointed out he is the 19th in the Royal line to monitor the progress of the USA. He stated the world will forget what we say but will never forget what we do. The entire Congress gave him a standing ovation at the conclusion of his speech.

The motion to proceed passed 52 to 47 with 1 member not voting.
SJR124 - A joint resolution to direct the removal of United States Armed Forces from hostilities within or against the Republic of Cuba that have not been authorized by Congress. A vote was taken "On the Point of Order" (indicating that there was a violation of rules concerning this item) which was "Well Taken" with a vote of 51 to 47 with 2 members not voting.

The House convened at 9am and adjourned at 7:01pm. No bills were discussed, no votes were taken. Next meeting is 9am on April 29, 2026.

Every politician who has voted against funding DHS and passing the SAVE America Act needs to be primaried and an "America First" candidate needs to be elected in their place.

On April 28, 2026, the Office of the First Lady published the statement First Lady Melania Trump Reinforces the Importance of Technology and Education with Her Majesty Queen Camilla in which a group of American students visited historically important sites such as Snowdonia, Giant's Causeway, Stonehenge, and the exterior of Buckingham Palace, using AI, learning about the history of the US and the UK. In addition, the students explored items from the White House Collection as well as the National Archives and Records Administration using AI. These items included a portrait of President John Adams who was the first US Ambassador to the UK; the WWII situation map prepared for President Franklin D Roosevelt; a bronze bust of Prime Minister Winston Churchill, and Staffordshire ceramics. Students were presented with a book and a gift from the First Lady. This event reflects the First Lady's continued commitment to BE BEST's Fostering the Future Together initiative intended to empower children through technology and education.

Lee Zeldin Infuriates Purple-Haired Democrat While He Schools Her On Basic Supreme Court Cases

Environmental Protection Agency administrator Lee Zeldin fired back at Democratic Connecticut Rep. Rosa DeLauro on Monday while she tried to lecture him on climate change.

During a House Appropriations Committee hearing, DeLauro accused the EPA of “abandoning” its duty to protect Americans from climate change — which she alleged was “flooding our streets, poisoning our air”— though Zeldin challenged the premise that the agency is responsible for fighting global climate warming. When Zeldin challenged DeLauro to explain the significance of a major Supreme Court case and the major policies doctrine, she refused.

“Following the law, section 202 of the Clean Air Act, where does it say anything about fighting global climate change?” Zeldin asked. “Loper Bright [Enterprises v. Raimondo], Supreme Court case, you’re familiar with it? … But that’s really important. As a member of Congress, Loper Bright says that we as an agency don’t have the authority to get creative.”

“No, but you don’t have, excuse me, you do not have the right to say climate change does not exist, that it’s a hoax, and that’s where this administration is coming from,” DeLauro said.

“Do you know what Loper Bright is? Do you know what the major policies doctrine is? You know what the major policies doctrine is? You’re a member of Congress, you should know,” Zeldin said.

Loper Bright, a landmark 2024 Supreme Court ruling, significantly limited the power of federal agencies to interpret their own regulatory authority and eliminated a requirement that courts defer to agencies’ interpretations of laws. The major policies doctrine restricts agencies from acting on major policy issues without authorization from Congress.

Zeldin also challenged DeLauro to explain another Supreme Court ruling West Virginia v. EPA, which was released in June 2022. In this case, the Court limited the EPA’s ability to regulate power plants’ emissions of greenhouse gasses.

“You’re here because you need money from us, so halt for the second, and wait for the questions, and answer the questions,” DeLauro said, visibly angry.

“Well, I answered your question, and you didn’t like my answer because you don’t know what Loper Bright is, because you don’t know what the major policies doctrine is. Because you’re asking me about section 202 of the Clean Air Act, and you don’t read it,” Zeldin said. “You don’t know what it says. No, I actually read the law. I do my homework. You’re just somebody who likes to have the microphone on. You know what I have to do? I read the law. I read the Supreme Court cases.”

DeLauro accused Zeldin of making up “a whole lot of BS.”

“BS? You think I made up these cases?” Zeldin asked.

“Yeah, I think you have made up a whole lot of BS,” DeLauro said.

“I made up Loper Bright. I made up West Virginia v. EPA. I made up Michigan v. EPA,” Zeldin said sarcastically, referring to a 2015 Supreme Court ruling that also limited the agency’s power.

Zeldin stated on X that DeLauro was infuriated because she entered a debate with someone “who actually knows what they are talking about, reads federal statute and adheres to Supreme Court precedent.”
