Oversight Committee Letter To Clinton- Libya Attacks & Denied Security Requests Prior To 9/11 Attack

It was reported earlier that information obtained by House investigators finds that after multiple attacks against the U.S. mission in Libya, the mission requested additional security prior to the 9/11/12 attack which resulted in the murder of a U.S. ambassador and three others as well as attacks again the U.S. Consulate and safe house. Those requests were denied by Washington.

Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., and Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, the chair of the subcommittee on national security, homeland defense, and foreign operations has written to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton listing numerous previous attacks (13)  leading up to the 9/11 terrorist attack and requesting more information for the Oversight Committee's investigation.
