620 Layoffs For TE Connectivity Plant Closing, Greensboro NC- Groupon Also Laying Off Workers and More

Following up on the news of Boeing, Welch Allyn, Dana Holding Corp., Stryker, Boston Scientific, and Medtronic, and Hawker Beechcraft, all laying off workers or preparing to do so and companies like Darden Restaurants, a casual dining chain best known for their Red Lobster, Olive Garden and LongHorn Steakhouse, limiting employee hours  to avoid health care requirements under the Affordable Care Act when they take effect in 2014," we now have more companies to add to the growing list of those preparing for, or are already laying their employees off.

TE Connectivity to close Greensboro, NC, plant, 620 layoffs expected and Groupon lays off 80 employees.
