I was born in Chicago,
nineteen and forty-one,
Well, my father told me, son you had better get a gun.
”Born in Chicago,” The Butterfield

The illegally
elected Mayor of Chicago, Rahm Emanuel, looked about as smug and stupid as
anyone I’ve ever seen when he stood up in front of a microphone and declared
that “Chick-fil-A values are not Chicago
values.”
I’d have to agree.
Dan Cathy is not likely to buy into the underlying philosophy of the city that
is now in
second place, moving up with a bullet to overtake New York as the murder capital of the U.S. The Paul
Butterfield Blues Band got it right in the mid-1960s, and things have only
gotten worse since then as Democrats solidified their fascistic hold on the
city that brought us such moral stalwarts as Saul Alinsky, Rod Blagojevich,
David Axelrod and Alinsky-devotee Barack Obama.
The title “Murder Capital of the U.S.” is within
the city’s grasp. With 192 murders recorded as of May 20 of this year, Chicago
is on pace to record an astounding 500 killings by New Year's Eve. You’re more
likely to get killed standing in line at a Chicago Chick-fil-A than you are to see a gay
person. I’m sure Emanuel wants to keep it that way. Wouldn’t want Chicago residents to get
complacent.
I’d also suggest that Dan Cathy reconsider whether
opening one of his restaurants in Emanuel’s city is a good idea. There are some
battles that aren’t worth fighting, and risking that Rahm Emanuel could refrain
from sending a gunman to the opening of a Chicago
Chick-fil-A isn’t something most betting men I know would take a chance on.
Chicago
values, don’t you know.
