[UPDATE] 11/03/06- A MUST read piece from a father of a fallen soldier. His response to John Kerry.
So after Kerry "supposedly" botched a joke and insinuated the soldiers who do not have an education get stuck in Iraq, he refused to apologize and insisted it was a joke went awry on the Bush administration. As I pointed out earlier, the joke made no sense because Bush scored higher grades than Kerry to begin with.
Then he refuses to apologize, then he apologizes that he was misunderstood. We caught up?
That is what he claims was a botched joke.
Was he misunderstood though? I don't think so. Seems John Solomon has found that Kerry not only meant what he said, he has said it before.
In 1972, as he ran for the House, he was less apologetic in his comments about the merits of a volunteer army. He declared in the questionnaire that he opposed the draft but considered a volunteer army "a greater anathema."
"I am convinced a volunteer army would be an army of the poor and the black and the brown," Kerry wrote. "We must not repeat the travesty of the inequities present during Vietnam. I also fear having a professional army that views the perpetuation of war crimes as simply 'doing its job."
Well Mr. Kerry, your true colors have finally shown through and it is representative of the Democratic point of view. After all he was their choice in 2004 for President.
Lets not forget the troops response to Kerry.
My related articles: "Kerry's Cowardly Contempt for our troops", "Kerry's Contempt Continued" and "It just gets worse for John Kerry."
Patterico's Pontifications has a very good piece about how the NYT once again lies for Kerry in trying to "claim" that his insults to our troops were truly a botched joke and claiming that a Flubbed Joke Makes Kerry a Political Punching Bag, Again.
Zogby has confirmed that 36% ashamed to be a Democrat.
