Thursday the State Department announced that U.S. Embassies across the world will be temporarily closing on Sunday due to "security concerns."
State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf said that after Sunday, the government would be reassessing their options, but did not specify the particular threat to the embassies concerned.
All that is being reported is there is a credible and serious security threat and the embassies that will be closing are in a slew of Muslim countries.
