A father and his 12-year-old son tragically died when an AR-15 accidently went off in a room filled with ammunition, causing a fire, which then started a series of explosions.
A neighbor, neighbor Kathleen Glass, describes what she heard "It was just like one right after another. One explosion right after another. I just don't have the words for it because I can not imagine having to go through something like this."
According to family members, Terry York's AR-15 went off accidentally and the resulting discharge started a small fire "which "did not seem too threatening at first," but quickly grew out of control after his 12-year-old son entered the room to help his father put out the fire.
State Bomb and Arson officials are investigating to confirm the cause.
