Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.): 12 Previous Yes Votes On Obamacare, Now No Votes In House

Pelosi's job of twisting arms to get enough votes to pass Obamacare in the House again, just got a lot harder after Representative Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) announced on MSNBC "It's accurate to say there are at least 12 of us who voted for healthcare that have indicated to the speaker and others that unless you change this language, we will vote against it."

Previously Stupak had told Fox that, the abortion issue aside, 15 or 20 Democrats in the House had other concerns with the Senate Obamacare bill and are withholding support.

But Stupak said that the group of 15-20 Democrats oppose it not just because of the abortion provisions.

Asked on Fox News if he thinks the president's fixes will pass the House, Stupak said, "Despite the abortion language, no, there are other problems with this bill...[I have spoken to] probably about 15 or 20 of them in the last 24 hours; they've said there are other problems with this bill."

Stupak's remarks come after House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.) Wednesday morning predicted that Democrats would fall 14 votes short of passing the bill.

The House passed its bill in November by a count of 220-215 and even a 15-vote defection would prevent Pelosi from passing the president's plan.

According to Salon, a key House liberal, Rep. Raúl Grijalva, co-chairman of a progressive caucus, is also "leaning" toward opposing the Obamacare bill in the House this time around.

Remember to head over to Hugh Hewitt's site and gather the names and numbers of the politicians to call and make your voice heard. Don't assume someone else will do it and you do not have to.

Everyone needs to call and let these politicians know that they will be committing political suicide if they pass Obamacare through reconciliation against the will of the majority of Americans.

[Update] Obviously the White House is taking Stupak's announcements seriously and they are doubling down again and sending out a warning to Democrats. Do Not Flip Flop!!!!
