President Barack Obama's stumping for healthcare isn't changing many -- if any -- votes in the House, a top liberal lawmaker said Wednesday night.
Rep. Lynn Woolsey (D-Calif.), the co-chairwoman of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, said that while the president is projecting the right message, it's not likely to move many votes in Congress.
"I think the entire debate that's been going on -- For what, a year or so? -- has reached a point where we're glad to hear the president speak out, and say what's on his mind and what he wants us to do, and get the country revved up," Woolsey said during an appearance on MSNBC. "But I don't think it's going to change a lot of minds."
His appearances are also being lost amid reports of Obamacare protests popping up in the places he is speaking, as previously reported.
Even politicians in the states where Obama is stumping for his signature Obamacare are "shunning" him.
The Show Me State temporarily became the No-Show State on Wednesday as some prominent Missouri Democrats decided they'd rather be somewhere else when President Obama came to push his massive health care overhaul plan.
Obama and the Democrats have set themselves up in opposition to the people of this country, against the pluralities and in some cases the majority of constituents, in order to pass a bill most think is bad for this country and the protests and counter-protests are expected to intensify in this next week as Democrats once again try to meet an arbitrary deadline in passing Obamacare, by any means necessary even if they have to change the rules in midstream to do so.

Yet, with all the news focusing on Obamacare, the Democratic politicians, led by Barack Obama keep missing what the people really want them to focus on. The economy, which now shows (H/T Hot Air) "Monthly deficit hits $220 billion, highest in U.S. history."
