The War On Terror- Going After People That Terrorize

Whether one agrees with America's methods or the handling of the War on Terror, it is safe to say that almost everybody would agree that the US spends billions upon billions of dollars going after terrorists. Why does the US ignore the terrorists within?

.
The video above shows the National Imperial Wizard of the National Knights of Ku Klux Klan making statements/threats against Barack Obama, such as "somebody else, down south, will take him out," and "If that man is elected president, he'll be shot sure as hell".

Fox News Chicago was so worried about these statements they contacted the Secret Service, Department of Homeland Security and the Obama campaign.

A recent post right here showed that members of the Dallas Police Department expressed concerned over what they called lapses in security at a recent event where Barack Obama gave a speech, where for the first hour members of the public that were attending were screened for weapons and then the screening stopped.

Today we see reports that the Secret Service, who apparently made those decisions "defends security at Obama rally in Dallas".

In this new article, Eric Zahren, a spokesman for the Secret Service in Washington states that there was no deviation in how these events are normally handled, then he goes on to say "It was never a part of the plan at this particular venue to have each and every person in the crowd pass through the Magnetometer."

The Magnometer is a device used to detect metal in clothing and bags.

Witnesses at other events, many for Obama, verify this.

Others said they had recently attended large political events, many for Obama, where security screening was halted. Jeremy Dibbell of Boston said in an e-mail that he attended an Obama event in Boston at which "the same thing happened there. We waited for hours in line as people were screened, and then suddenly everyone was just allowed in without going through any inspection at all."

It is routine to not screen everybody attending these events, for weapons.

My original report about this event brought up some very disturbing questions and as I started to research, I found equally disturbing answers which led me into the world of hatred and terrorism within America and specifically those issuing threats against Barack Obama and the glaring question of the US spending billions of dollars going after terrorists and yet ignoring the threats from terrorists within the US.

The KKK, otherwise known as the Ku Klux Klan as well as other groups of neo-nazi's and white supremacists.

First and foremost, what is the definition of terrorism?

1.The use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, esp. for political purposes.

2.The state of fear and submission produced by terrorism or terrorization.

The Ku Klux Klan (KKK) is the name of several past and present organizations in the United States that have advocated white supremacy, anti-Semitism, anti-Catholicism, racism, homophobia, anti-Communism and nativism. These organizations have often used terrorism, violence, and acts of intimidation, such as cross burning and lynching, to oppress African Americans and other social or ethnic groups. (Wiki)

ABC, which did a report in 2007, they assert that "number of hate groups -- from the Ku Klux Klan to neo-Nazis and skinhead groups -- has risen by 40 percent since 2000, from 602 to 844, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks such groups."

The KKK originated in 1866 during America's reconstruction after the Civil War, declined after the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871 and rose again in 1915 and had existed in this country since then, in one form or another.

The Ku Klux Klan is not the only group issuing threats against Obama, in my research I ran across many sites, forums and blogs and the comments in the comment section show similar threats being issued, in some cases they simply discuss what would happen if Obama is elected and "someone shoots him" speaking to how that would cause the "inner cities" to "explode" and be the end of the USA "as we know it".

White Wizard777- If there is a race war it will be the ordinary everyday people who cause and fuel it. Most of them will have never heard of Stormfront. What could cause this? Well, if Barak Obama is elected president that could do it. Especially if someone shoots him. Can you imagine what would happen if a Black man was finally elected President or Vice President and is killed? The inner cities would explode like we have never imagined possible.

So in that case I guess yes, it could be the end of the U.S.A. as we know it.

Others on different forums are not so subtle in their comments though.

The names alone for some of those that comment are worrisome enough but the comments from some of them are clear and concise, such as one from commenter "Kill da nigga" who says "I'm hoping someone will do his public duty of putting a bullet through Obama's head soon."

The only saving grace in that forum was that others were calling them out on the nature of their racism and hate.

White Supremacists, Neo-Nazi's and the KKK, all of which making no bones about what they would like to see happen to Barack Obama, which leaves this blogger with two very relevant questions.

First: Why are the terrorists within the US allowed to operate freely, to threaten and terrorize at will, when America spend billions on fighting terrorism abroad?

Second: How could the Secret Service protecting Barack Obama justify not screening each and every person that attends a speech or rally that Obama appears at, given the ongoing threats issued against him?

The threats from these extremist groups within the US increase as the 2008 election nears and yet the security does not increase accordingly.

(Disclaimer- I am not an Obama fan, I think He and Hillary would be the very worst thing for this country if elected, but threats as those shown above should not be tolerated.)
