By Susan Duclos

George Zimmerman's parents, in their first interview since the Zimmerman was found not guilty of second degree murder and manslaughter for the death of Trayvon Martin, tells Barbara Walters that their son is "absolutely not," a racist.

They also speak openly about the life since the verdict where they fear for their lives over the death threats directed at them and have been forced to live in hiding as does their son, George.

When asked what they would say to Trayvon Martin's parents, Zimmerman's mother replied, "As parents, that we are deeply sorry for this tragedy. Deeply sorry. We pray for Trayvon Martin to be in a better place. He's always in our prayers."
