There have been a massive propane plant explosions in Tavares, Fla., at the Blue Rhino plant in Lake County, near Orlando, late Monday at approximately 11pm, injuring multiple people, leaving at least 10 unaccounted for and forcing evacuations at least a mile around the scene.
The night shift crew members are believed to have died in the explosions. (See Update below)
[Update- Tuesday, July 30, 2013] Early morning reports show that the dozens of explosions were likely accidental and seven workers were injured, at least least critically.
We don't think there was any act of sabotage or anything like that," the Orlando Sentinel quoted Fire Chief Richard Keith as saying. "It was probably a human or equipment error.
It is now believed all other workers are accounted for.
