Terrorists Use Web Against "Idiot" Americans Part #2

Bombs, suicide bombers, IED's etc.. are not the only ways that terrorists attack and this is something that many people simply do not pay attention to, but they should.

April 22, 2007, we brought you a piece called "Terrorists Use Web Against "Idiot" Americans", where we showed you Islamic Extremist websites that have been translated to English by MEMRI, Middle East Media Research Institute, to show us the latest instructions that is being sent to extremeists about using our web to infilitrate and spread false information among Americans.

From MEMRI, March 20, 2007.

Fostering anti-war sentiment by posing online as citizens.

In the past few months, Islamists engaged in "media jihad" have increased their efforts to expose as broad a Western audience as possible to their jihad films, which purport to document the growing success of the mujahideen in Iraq and Afghanistan. As part of this endeavor, they have posted jihad films on popular free video-sharing websites such as YouTube, LiveLeak, and Google Video, hoping that such films will tip public opinion in the West against the war in Iraq and Afghanistan - thus pressuring Western governments to withdraw their troops from these countries.

As part of the campaign to foster anti-war sentiment among Westerners, and more specifically among Americans, a member of the Al-Mohajroon Islamist website with the username Al-Wathiq Billah instructed mujahideen in how to infiltrate popular American forums and to use them to distribute jihad films and spread disinformation about the war.

The following are excerpts:

"Raiding American Forums is Among the Most Important Means of Obtaining Victory in the Fierce Media War… and of Influencing the Views of the Weak-Minded American"

"There is no doubt, my brothers, that raiding American forums is among the most important means of obtaining victory in the fierce media war... and of influencing the views of the weak-minded American who pays his taxes so they will go to the infidel American army. This American is an idiot and does not [even] know where Iraq is... [It is therefore] mandatory for every electronic mujahid [to engage in this raiding]."

"It is better that you raid non-political forums such as music forums and trivia forums... which American people... favor... Define your target[ed forum]... and get to know it well... Post your contribution and do not get into... futile arguments..."

Indicate You Are an American

"Obviously, you have to register yourself using a purely American name... Choose an icon that indicates that you are an American, and place it next to your nickname [in the forum]."

"In my experience, the areas most visited in American forums... [are titled] 'Random Thoughts' and 'What's going on in your mind?'... [The former] takes priority in the American forums, and is highly popular. You should post your contribution there... This should include films of the mujahideen in Iraq, mujahideen publications in English, and images and films of the Americans' crimes, [such as] killing unarmed civilians in Iraq... etc."

"Invent Stories About American Soldiers You Have [Allegedly] Personally Known"

"Obviously, you should post your contribution... as an American... You should correspond with visitors to this forum, [bringing to their attention] the frustrating situation of their troops in Iraq... You should invent stories about American soldiers you have [allegedly] personally known (as classmates... or members in a club who played baseball and tennis with you) who were drafted to Iraq and then committed suicide while in service by hanging or shooting themselves..."

"Also, write using a sad tone, and tell them that you feel sorry for your [female] neighbor or co-worker who became addicted to alcohol or drugs... because her poor fiancé, a former soldier in Iraq, was paralyzed or [because] his legs were amputated... [Use any story] which will break their spirits, oh brave fighter for the sake of God..."

How to Make Americans Feel Frustrated With Their Government

"You should enter into debate or respond only if it is extremely necessary... Your concern should [only] be introducing topics which... will cause [them to feel] frustration and anger towards their government..., which will... render them hostile to Bush... and his Republican Party and make them feel they must vote ton bring the troops back from Iraq as soon as possible."

"Do not... discuss issues pertaining to Arabs or Muslims at all, whether negatively or positively... because this could be a trap for you... In addition, do not ask people to circulate the material [you have posted] in other forums... as these types of requests will expose you..."

On June 14, 2007, MEMRI brought to us the "followup" instructions.

Global Islamic Media Front Instructs Islamists to Infiltrate Popular Non-Islamic Forums to Spread Pro-Islamic State Propaganda

Recently, the Global Islamic Media Front (GIMF) announced a new comprehensive media campaign titled "The Battar Media Raid to Defend the Islamic State [of Iraq] (ISI)," whose declared purpose is to repel the intensive campaign against the ISI by Arab and Western media agencies and to stop the increasing military campaign against the ISI by Sunni organizations in Iraq.

One moment here to explain what the Global Islamic Media Front is:

In August 2006, called for a "media war" and invasion of U.S. media to influence American public opinion.

"People of jihad have to create a media war that goes parallel to the military war. They should not be short on anything because we see the effect the media has on the nation and people in supporting or denouncing," the group said.

They understand that by using our media to spread their propaganda that they can influence our people to think exactly what they want them to think. Our media knows this and continues to work with them.

If you doubt this, than try to explain CNN's use of a video that they admit they recieved from our terrorists to be shown to the American people and CNN's complicity by airing that video exactly as instructed by those same terrorists, then to make matters worse, CNN then offered that sniper video on their on demand channel. (By the way, for anyone that doubts that CNN offered this on demand, clik the link, we have the screen shots of it being offered for payment, shown here and here.)

That is simply one example, we have shown consistently that the NYT, Wapo, CNN as well as the AP have done this and continue to do this, working with the terrorists to further their own political agendas.

Back to MEMRI and the latest instructions the extremists are giving their supporters.

(GIMF= Global Islamic Media Front)
(ISI= Islamic State of Iraq)

In a message titled "The Battar Media Raid: How to Participate? How to Help? What Is My Role?" the GIMF announces the beginning of the campaign and provides a detailed description of the campaign's goals and ways of accomplishing them, including infiltrating non-Islamic forums for the purpose of posting pro-ISI propaganda.

The following are excerpts from the announcement:

The Islamist Forum Must Be Like a Beehive During the Raid

"What we expect from you brothers and sisters is for the [Islamist] forum to be like beehives during the raid... [whereby] one person takes part in distributing [material]... another generates links... one person writes an article... while another writes a poem... People must feel and notice that the forums have changed radically during this blessed raid..."

The following are the details of the plan:

Designate a Special Space on the Forum for Raid Material

"First:...Those who supervise the [Islamist] forums have a significant role in this raid. We expect from you the following: a) to post the raid's slogan on the websites, forums, and blogs, as a way of expressing support for the raid; b) to designate a special space in the forums in which material related to the raid will be posted... so [that this material] will be easily recognized [by forum participants]. We request that this space be open to everyone, with registration not required; and c) to collaborate with GIMF in matters concerning suggestions and experience..."

Ban Anyone Who Slanders the Islamic State [of Iraq] From Disseminating Their Poison in the Forums

"Second, we expect the following from the forums' administrators: a) to take control of your forums and forbid anyone who slanders [the ISI] or [accuses it of causing] civil strife from disseminating his poison in your forums... [and] b) to prevent futile and useless discussions and responses... and to urge people to participate in the raid."

Post Raid Material on [Non-Islamic] Music, Youth, and Sports Forums

"Third, beloved [raid participants], the raid is dependent on you... The raid demands of you many things... such as expertise, especially in the following areas: seeking religious knowledge, montage, translation into any language, uploading material onto various types of websites, web design, graphic design, journal and publication design, and hacking and security. If you have expertise in any of these [fields], contact the GIMF representative on any of the forums. If, however, you do not possess this expertise... there are other matters you can [promote]: for example, posting matters related to the raid in most [jihad] forums... posting [material] in non-jihad forums, posting in non-Islamic forums such as music forums, youth forums, sports forums, and others. Anyone who undertakes to post the material must look into the [appropriate] manner of spreading [the material for each type of forum]... The way in which members of music forums address one another differs from the way members of jihad forum address one another."

Despite the liberal lefts claims that terrorism is bred from poverty and lack of education, please keep in mind that Bin Laden is a very rich man and if you look to the masterminds of 9/11, they were very educated men... it is nothing more than a myth that terrorists are poor or uneducated.

They are very smart as you can see by the two sets of instructions, they also have a good understanding of how to influence those that get their information from a) the media and b) blogs, and other forums.

Monitor Forum Members' Reactions to Your Posting

"You are not required to engage in blind copying and pasting here... [On the contrary,] you should select [carefully] the material... and the words... and the most important issue is to monitor forum members' reactions after you disseminate your material and to respond to them, turning for help to your comrades in the jihad forums if you find it difficult [to reply] to one of the reactions [from members of the non-Islamic forums]."

"[You should also offer] commentary to the various news agencies' websites... such as the Al-Jazeera and Al-Arabiyya websites... Even if they do not publish your commentary... do not give up... Persist... in the attempt to place the name of the raid in every commentary..."

Detailed instructions are being given as to how to influence our media and our forums as another front in the Global War on Terror and we would do well to remember that these are the tactics they are using, in some cases, they have proven to use them quite effectively.

Example:

We now have another video, shown on al-Jazeera network, in English, meant to reach the American audience to further turn more people against our actions in Iraq.

The tape begins in dramatic form with the title "Lee's Life for Lies."

Christmas greeting from a U.S. soldier, Specialist Lee Kimball Tucker, sent to his family in Florida before he was killed.

First there are scenes of Tucker celebrating his birthday with his buddies.

Then a cut to an attack on a U.S. Army humvee and its aftermath.

An insurgent narrator says the insurgents found a computer flash drive in the wreckage that belonged to Tucker and purports to play it.

A voice says, "Dear Mom and Dad, I'm so glad I could send you my third Christmas greetings letter."

The voice identified as Tucker says he and his fellow soldiers became violent and reckless searching for insurgents.

"The crimes by our soldiers during break-ins started to merge, such as burglary, harassment, raping and random manslaughter," says the voice. "Why are we even here? The people hate us."

[...]

soldiers buy their way out of dangerous night patrols and gun turret duty with cash and drugs.

"The marijuana-rolled cigarettes are the rare currency capable of buying or changing anything. The drugs goes all around here," says the voice.

And it ends with a final denunciation of U.S. leaders and policy.

"What we are doing here is so disgraceful; our acts are shameful," says the voice. He then signs off, "Specialist Lee Kimball Tucker."

Horrible isn't it??? Are you now saying, see? We TOLD you our soldiers need to come home, we TOLD you they hate the administration and do not believe in what we are doing in Iraq.

THAT is the purpose of the video and for many of you, it would work like a charm because the enemy knows exactly how to push your buttons and manipulate you to make you do exactly what they want you to do.

The kicker in all this????

All very powerful from a dead soldier, except for the fact that Lee Kimball Tucker is not dead.

His family says he returned from Iraq in May and was with them over the holidays so he would not have been sending any messages home.

The Jihadists know our liberals very well and this is the latest in their tricks aimed right at, what they consider America's "weak link", our far left democrats. It is almost scary exactly how well these Jihadists know our Democrats, isn't it? Almost.....intimately.

Laura Mansfield, an Arabic language analyst and publisher of a newsletter "Strategic Translations" that tracks jihadi websites, said this is a new trick in the jihadists' propaganda campaign.

"This is part of a very shrewd campaign to reach a U.S. audience, soldiers and voters," she said. "It is in English and forgives most soldiers and Americans, calling on them to help end the war."

For the record, the last paragraph of the Blotters article says it all.

Tucker's mother Pam of Fort Worth, Texas, told ABC News that Tucker is not anti-war and that he could be returning to Iraq later this year.

Tucker has been there and he will be going back, because the soldiers, overwhelmingly understand the stakes and believe in their mission....they also are the ones that see, firsthand, not only our failures in Iraq, but our progress and successes.....the things that the media do NOT show you.
Again, this is only one example of many that we have brought to you over the past and there will be many more in the future, because as long as our MSM continues to do their bidding, the terrorists will continue to use them and as long as the far left continues to buy and repeat their lies, they will also use them.

They could not accomplish all of this without "willing accomplices", which is where, sadly, the MSM and the Democratic politicians as well as the liberal bloggers come in to play.

They eat the Global Islamic Media Front's lies up as if it was candy, then they pass it out to their friends.

NEVER LET STUPIDITY GO UNANSWERED ON YOUR SITE.

It is not a game, and by responding firmly to the stupidity in the comment sections of your blogs, (trolls if you will) you are assuring that some new reader that doesn't know of the terrorists tactics are not sucked into their lies.

We do have a role in this war and while our soldiers are fighting abroad for us, we must do what we can, however limited our power is, and we must fight the media war here at home.
