Madame Speaker

After reading Pelosi's Plan, it lef me with one big question.... what next? A question that with all the slgans, all the huge ideas and all the doublespeak cannot answer.

In speaking about the first 100 hours as Madame Speaker, Nancy Pelosi neglects to mention.... what next? What about after the first 100 hours and who on earth thought of that slogan for her? Whoever it was should be fired and if it was Pelosi herself, well enough said.

All the days after that: "Pay as you go," meaning no increasing the deficit, whether the issue is middle class tax relief, health care or some other priority.

To do that, she said, Bush-era tax cuts would have to be rolled back for those above "a certain level." She mentioned annual incomes of $250,000 or $300,000 a year and higher, and said tax rates for those individuals might revert to those of the Clinton era. Details will have to be worked out, she emphasized.

Details have to be worked out.... She has a plan, but she hasn't worked out the details of it, of course."

What next?

What about AFTER the first 100 hours?

As far to the left as she can get, Pelosi spouts off nonsense and supposed brilliant ideas, but of course she hasn't worked out the details.

As usual and as I have mentioned in more than one post, the Democrats have alot of ideas, but no way to accomplish them. They have no answer to the one basic question that they cannot avoid... what next?

To think of it should be enough I guess....

A plan doesn't just include wanting something to be a certain way, a plan actually maps out how one proposes to get there. What steps need to be taken to reach the goal.

Once again, they have no plan, no steps, no path. They just have empty words, almost as empty as their heads seem to be.

They continue to remind me, day after day, word after word, breath after breath, exactly why I am an EX-Democrat and why Americans have not given them control in the last three elections.

Madame Speaker my ass.
