Slideshow of the remains of the bombs that exploded Monday at the Boston Marathon which killed 3 and wounded up to 170 more people.
As reported earlier the bombs consisted of explosives put in common 1.6-gallon pressure cookers, one containing shards of metal and ball bearings, the other packed with nails, according to a person close to the investigation who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation was still going on. Both bombs were stuffed into duffel bags.(Via Washington Post)

[Update] A 7 News Exclusive has video and still pictures of the blast area right before the blast, then right after the blast, showing what is believed to be a bag containing a bomb beforehand, which is missing after the blast.
