New documents first obtained by the Daily Caller suggest former special counsel Jack Smith may have misled lawmakers and the public regarding the pretext for his investigation into President Donald Trump’s retention of classified documents.
The documents reveal the National Archives’ internal watchdog did not consider its February 2022 message to the Justice Department (DOJ) about Trump’s possession of classified documents a criminal referral, contradicting Smith’s account of how the case began. The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) Office of Inspector General (OIG) case report from February 2022, obtained by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, notes that its message to the Justice Department was a referral, but not a criminal referral.
Smith had previously claimed in court filings that the investigation was “[p]rompted by NARA’s discovery of classified documents in the 15 boxes in January 2022 and a criminal referral from NARA in February 2022.”
“The OIG determined that this matter and the other relevant matters be classified as -R (referral to DOJ for their assessment and guidance, not the same as a criminal referral for prosecution which is only done for criminal investigations),” the report first made in 2022 and edited throughout 2023 to include such information notes.
FBI messages included in the documents show that the bureau first treated the missing documents complaint as a “spillage” issue with “little likelihood of being pursued as a criminal matter.”
“Here is the official PIN response to us after we had that meeting with them last week which we briefed you on. FBI and AUSA Jay Bratt (DOJ-NSD) are handling matter 1 and according to the FBI (who I spoke to last late last week) matter 1 is being handled as a ‘spillage’ which sounded like there is little likelihood of being pursued as a criminal matter,” a NARA official sent to the DOJ in February 2022 about Trump’s possession of classified documents.
“Thank you for the email, Waleska and Jason. I appreciated you taking the time to discuss these matters in more detail in our virtual meeting this afternoon,” another email from the DOJ to FBI and NARA officials read.
“Based on the allegations as set forth below and as supplemented by our virtual meeting, Matters 1, 2, and 3 are not matters for which PIN would open a criminal investigation at this time. If you develop additional evidence related to these allegations, especially as to the contents of the underlying documents or any evidence,” it continued about the potential case.
Grassley is was expected to reveal these documents during his committee’s hearing on Tuesday with Smith.
The documents also reveal separate NARA communications showing the agency’s general counsel, Gary Stern, made substantive edits to DOJ court filings in the case, even though Smith’s office told the court NARA played no role in “prosecutorial strategy.”
Smith secured two indictments charging Trump for alleged interference in the 2020 election and for alleged mishandling of classified documents. Despite his best efforts to secure a trial before the election, Smith was forced to drop both cases after the now-president won the presidential election in 2024.
In June 2023, Smith’s office received a massive trove from NARA: 54 spreadsheets of text messages from inside Trump’s orbit obtained from the White House custodian.
After obtaining the documents, senior attorney Thomas Windom was eavesdropping on the conversations between Trump and his top advisors in his first administration, including former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, former Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino, first daughter Ivanka Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, and many others. It appears the review was done without first separating potentially privileged information.

It’s very sad to see what’s happened to Canada in the past several decades. What was once a nation of freedom, founded on Christian morals and values, has devolved into a tyrannical, secular humanist, cultural Marxist society, and as that’s happened, Canada has completely lost it’s moral compass, leaving citizens in a state of delusion, self-indulgence and sin. Like the US, Canada was founded by Christians. French colonization began with Catholic settlers and missionaries, while British settlement brought Angelican, Presbyterian, Methodist, Baptist and other protestant denominations. Of course, just as we see here in our nation, those particular varieties of “Christianity” no longer mean what they once did. And just as we see here in America, the “salt has lost his savor” in Canada — even more so than our modern American churches — if you can even comprehend that. I think it’s safe to say the vast majority of Canadian so-called “churches” are now far beyond apostate, and I’m glad my grandfather isn’t here to see what’s happened to Canada. It would break his heart. Because, when he emigrated from Ireland to the New World, he first settled in Canada, as did many of his siblings. At that time, there was an extremely strong Christian Protestant influence, and my grandfather was deeply, deeply involved in that. He married my grandmother there in 1910. But within a few years, they realized that Canada was not to be their home, and they moved to Chicago. My grandfather, Alexander Pue, was an elder at Moody Church in Chicago, even before their current church building opened in 1925, the year my Dad was born. He also preached from the pulpit there on many occasions and his portrait still hangs in the Visitor Center there today. I still have relatives living in Canada, but most that I know of left their deep Christian roots behind long ago, just like most Canadians. As we’ve seen in other formerly Christian nations, the decline in Canada was gradual. In the 1960s, in Quebec, what came to be known as the “Quiet Revolution” transferred education, healthcare and other institutions away from Christian influence and relinquished it to the provincial state. Then, all across Canada, the influence of Christianity began falling as well. In 1969, abortion became legal there, but limited. In 1988, all laws prohibiting abortion were eliminated. In 1982, the “Charter of Rights and Freedoms” officially turned the Canadian government away from Christian morals and values, as they embraced “religious neutrality” and secular humanism. Then in the 1990s and 2000s, Canada began to see a swift drop in church attendance and Christian influence. By 2021, only 13% of Canadians identified as being Protestant “Christians.” The rise of homosexuality followed a similar course, ramping up with LGBTQP+ activism starting in the late 1960s. By 2005, Canada’s “Civil Marriage Act” legalized same-sex so-called “marriage” nationwide — as Canada became the fourth nation in the world to do so, a full ten years before the US followed suit. I wasn’t really following news from Canada very closely until I was shocked to hear what had happened to our friend, Peter LaBarbera, in 2014. Peter is the founder of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality. His organization exposes the LGBTQP+ cult, it’s origins and it’s agenda of grooming young people into this debauchery. In April of that year, he was invited to speak at a Saskatchewan Pro-Life Association Conference. When he landed at the airport in Canada, he was immediately detained by federal agents, who confiscated his passport, and held him for questioning until well after 1 am. Officials grilled him on his viewpoints, and accused him of attempting to violate Canada’s hate-propaganda laws. They also confiscated his computer, the literature he’d brought with him, and delved deeply into his writings and his website. Peter recalls that it felt more like trying to enter North Korea than Canada. He had an official hearing at 10 am the next day and was eventually released. Then, he joined Bill Whatcott to speak at the University of Regina. There, the two men were arrested for “hate speech.” The two stood trial in October of 2014 and both were eventually found not guilty. Peter LaBarbera’s experience was the first of its kind I’d ever heard of, coming from Canada. But things there had become decisively anti-Christian long before that, which brings us to the struggles of Bill Whatcott. Bill was a licensed practical nurse in Saskatchewan, when, in the early 2000s, he protested outside a Regina Planned Parenthood facility, rightly calling clinic workers “murderers” and “abortionists.” His nursing license was suspended and he was ordered to pay $40,000 in legal costs. That conviction was eventually overturned. But Bill persisted. In 2001, he became known nationally, when he distributed pamphlets under the name “Christian Truth Activists,” warning of the homosexual agenda infiltrating the public schools. Four people complained to the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission, saying the pamphlets were “hate speech targeting a protected class of people.” A Tribunal was held and he was ordered to pay the complainants $17,500. Twelve years later, the Supreme Court of Canada upheld the constitutionality of hate speech laws under what became known as the “Whatcott Decision.” Then came the Toronto Pride incident of 2016. At that event, Bill and his crew attended, dressed as “homosexual zombies” — green body suits that looked more like “alien” costumes. As one who’s been to “Pride” festivals to minister to the lost, I can tell you that was probably a good idea, because the things that take place at these events are so bizarre, you’d need to look just as bizarre in order to not be physically. attacked or even beaten to death. Then, they handed out materials that appeared to be “safe sex packages.” Inside were materials that explained sexually transmitted diseases, the truth about homosexual behaviors, and messages urging sodomites to repent. A proposed class action lawsuit sought $104 million in damages, but that was later settled out of court. But two years later, Toronto police charged Whatcott with “willfully promoting hatred.” He turned himself in to police, a trial was held and he was acquitted in 2021. Meanwhile, Bill continued to witness against abortion, child abuse, sodomy and now, “transgenderism.” In 2017, a “transgender” candidate in British Columbia took issue with one of his fliers that explained how changing one’s gender is impossible. Two years later, a Tribunal ruled that Whatcott had violated the British Columbia “Human Rights Code” and awarded the candidate $35,000 for “injury to dignity, feelings and self-respect.” Can you imagine, receiving $35,000 from a court because someone hurt your feelings? Although Bill was acquitted in 2021 for the materials he passed out in 2016 at “Toronto Pride,” Canada has no “double jeopardy” rules, so he was forced to go back to court for the crime of “criminal hate propaganda” and a single judge declared him guilty just a couple weeks ago. He’s set to be sentenced in December of this year, and faces up to two years in prison — for something he did ten years ago, and was originally acquitted of. And in June of this year, Canada passed Bill C-9, the “Combatting Hate Act.” It is now the “law of the land” in Canada. This law expands the “hate speech,” and “hate propaganda” laws currently on the books, to include even the Bible when it comes to criticism of any “protected class” of citizens. In other words, preaching Scripture and referencing what God’s Word calls “sin,” “abomination,” “depravity,” and “debauchery” is now punishable with sentences ranging from 2 years to life in prison. In 2016, Canada also passed Parliament’s Bill C-14, which legalizes euthanasia, which they call “Medical Assistance In Dying” or “MAID.” In January, this law automatically gets expanded to include people whose only medical condition is mental illness. In other words, even if you’re just depressed, you can go to the doctor and request your own death. And just recently, it was reported that an 83-year-old grandmother was euthanized against her will — she begged to not be killed, but they killed her anyway. Need I mention what took place during COVID? Remember the Canadian truckers, and how they became criminals because they dared to expose the tyranny of the politicians? Bank accounts were frozen, money was seized, trucks were seized. Anyone aiding the truckers was persecuted. We should also remember Pastor Art Pawlowski, who has now endured over 400 charges against him for daring to keep his church open, preaching in public, and even feeding the homeless while preaching on the streets. He’s been relentlessly pursued by the legal system there, simply for following the Word of God. Indeed, Canada does seem more like North Korea when it comes to people following Christ. Canada’s a beautiful country, but it’s been overtaken by Communists and God-haters. What was once a nation founded on Christian morals and ethics has been overtaken by madmen, intent on nothing less than absolute government and Globalist control. There’s no such thing as “freedom of religion” there anymore, if the “religion” you’re talking about is Christianity...not that it matters to most, because just as is happening here in America, God was removed from society decades ago, and church leadership allowed it to happen, as they remained silent and did nothing. Morally and ethically, Canada has fallen. It’s become a cautionary tale of what happens when a nation forgets God, our Creator, and replaces Him with gods of their own imaginations. If you’re a good little Communist, if you keep your mouth shut and don’t offend anyone in a “protected class,” Big Brother might leave you alone. But if you dare follow Christ or think for yourself, or defy the Almighty State, be assured Big Brother is always watching, seeking opportunities to stomp you under his heel. Watch Canada carefully, friends, because we’re next. I suggest you read Deuteronomy 28 right now, put two and two together, and understand how we got here. Then, spread the word, because it’s way past time for someone to do so. Lord knows, you won’t hear this in church.

Fox News hired a former top aide to Andrew Cuomo who admitted to covering up New York State’s nursing home deaths during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Melissa DeRosa will join Fox as a contributor and co-host of a new podcast, “The Girls,” which will debut Oct. 1, Fox News Media said in a press release Monday. DeRosa served in Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s administration until resigning in August 2021 amid allegations that the governor “sexually harassed” government employees.
Earlier that year, DeRosa admitted on a conference call with Democratic lawmakers that the Cuomo administration covered up the number because they feared the scandal would be politicized by then-President Donald Trump, who could use the Department of Justice to launch a probe.
“He starts tweeting that we killed everyone in nursing homes,” DeRosa said, according to the New York Post. “He starts going after [then-New Jersey Gov. Phil] Murphy, starts going after [California Gov. Gavin] Newsom, starts going after [Michigan Gov.] Gretchen Whitmer.”
“We were in a position where we weren’t sure if what we were going to give to the Department of Justice, or what we give to you guys, what we start saying, was going to be used against us while we weren’t sure if there was going to be an investigation,” DeRosa said.
She also apologized to lawmakers for putting them in a tough political position.
In 2020, the Daily Caller News Foundation exclusively reported that New York omitted an unknown number of coronavirus deaths in reports on residents of nursing homes and adult care facilities. A 2021 report from the New York State Assembly found that Cuomo had personally edited the Department of Health’s numbers to undercount nursing home coronavirus deaths by thousands.
Although officials knew the number of deaths among nursing home residents stood at around 10,000, the government’s report stated it was only 6,500.
DeRosa has frequently criticized left-wing Democrats and compared candidates aligned with the Democratic Socialists of America, including New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, characterizing them as “parasites.”
“They cannot win on their own by creating their own party, so they are going to latch onto the Democratic Party and feed off of it, with the overall goal of taking it over and killing it,” she said in June.
DeRosa also presents herself as a Democrat who believes the party’s left flank has crossed a line regarding Israel.
She slammed Mamdani in January after he condemned an antisemitic attack on a synagogue in Jackson, Mississippi.
“Everyone knows exactly where you stand, which is why you still can’t bring yourself to denounce the disgusting, vile phrase ‘globalize the intifada,’ and why it took you over 24 hours to denounce Hamas: a terrorist organization funded by Iran,” she wrote in response. “The mask is off. The campaign is over, and while some weak politicians & some in the press may still give you a pass, with each passing day, more people see exactly who you are—and you will never be the future of the Democratic Party.”

The leaves turn and the season quickens and, in a few weeks, comes an election more dreaded than all the slavering blood beasts of Halloween. Do you suppose, as I do, that America is tired of being insane? The pathetic part of this national nervous breakdown is how unnecessary it actually is. Our national problems are not that difficult to understand and correct. Here’s an inventory of them:
Making a living 1. So many blunders, starting with off-shoring our factories. So few well-paying working-class jobs. Some of the former working-class are now working three part-time gigs and still not making a living. Quite a few are just at home, on “disability,” smoking drugs, flirting with suicide on fentanyl, eating too much crap snack food, getting tattoos. We’ve quit pretending that’s all right.
Mr. Trump proposes to change that and is re-shoring industry. It takes time to build it, get it running. Meanwhile nobody can find a plumber, an electrician, because of the bad political decision to send everyone to college, including kids not really able to finish high school. Result: “elite overproduction.” Translation: too many college graduates, with the situation made worse by bogus fields-of-study that were concocted to keep students busy without preparing them for the real world. Hence, they are “elite” only by certification, not superior knowledge or skills. Young people need to learn real skills. Mr. Trump issued EO 14278 (April 2025) “Preparing Americans for High-Paying Skilled Trade Jobs of the Future.” Pell grants for short-term vocational training. Grants for apprenticeship positions.
Making a living 2. Rewrite the immigration law. We don’t need 1-million-plus newcomers each year. How about none for a while? Give American citizens priority for any and all jobs. Keep the border closed and deport all illegal immigrants. They have no “right” to be here. We don’t need “the wretched refuse of your teeming shore” (Emma Lazarus, 1883). It’s not 1883 anymore. Quit pretending we have to be “the beacon of the world.” Let them make themselves free in their own lands.
Making a living 3. America needs household servants and poor people need work. The current work-around for the well-off is to hire illegal aliens for this kind of work. It allows them to believe that putting poor Americans on the dole (out of “empathy”) and allowing them to be useless is “progressive.” (That’s insane.) There’s plenty to do, even for people of limited ability. Make menial labor okay again. These days, many people of means live in chaotic households where nothing is taken care of. It reflects their chaotic lives. (No wonder wealthy liberals are crazy.) Get poor people off welfare and off making babies they can’t take care of. Give them a place to live in your 5,000 square-foot McMansion and a paycheck.
Nothing Works. Because we automated too many transactions. Spent $XX-Billions and fifty years computerizing the US Telephone system to improve communication. Result: it’s impossible to get a real human being on the phone. How is that an improvement? How is it better for Americans to get fucked around on “phone trees” for hours every week? Too many “help desks” located in foreign lands that employ people who barely speak English. Quit pretending that’s okay. Start by requiring doctors’ offices and hospitals to provide humans to the answer their phones.
The Horror That Is Medicine. Get this: the situation is too dire to fix at-scale. The complexity and opportunities for racketeering are now too vast. Since failure is already well underway, and trust in doctors is broken, allow medicine to reorganize at the local clinic scale on a pay-for-service basis. Streamline medical education and the entry positions to practice. Government should not take over medicine, but can subsidize medical education. It would comprise a tiny percentage of the annual budget. Accept that there’s a lot doctors will have to learn on-the-job. Forbid insurance companies from owning hospitals, clinics, and doctor practices. To restore trust, quit pretending that Covid-19 was anything but a nefarious exercise and prosecute the large number of pharma executives, hospital admins, doctors, bureaucrats, who enabled it to happen. Make personal responsibility for your body great again. Let RFKjr do his job.
Scam Education. It’s failing at-scale as medicine is. Kids are allowed to “graduate” from high school not knowing how to read or do basic arithmetic. How did that become okay? Answer: the teachers’ unions are corrupt and degenerate, dedicated to Marxist social disruption and maximizing their pensions. Manipulating kids into fake sexual crises is a criminal enterprise. Centralizing K-12 schools into gigantic buildings was as much a mistake as off-shoring industry. School’s primary mission should be to produce basically literate citizens in the language of the USA, which is English. If you can’t speak and read English, you’re unlikely to learn anything else and unlikely to thrive in this society.
Black / White race conflict. Failing to teach black ghetto kids to speak English correctly stigmatizes them for life. Quit pretending you can compensate for that with grievance politics. It’s only made race relations worse and driven whites and blacks into separate cultures that can barely communicate with each other. That is opposite of the direction America was going in two generations ago. How did it reverse? I will tell you: By the 1980s, liberal shame over the Civil Rights movement’s failure to produce perfect social “equity” inspired the “solution” of “multiculturalism,” which said, let’s just have different standards of language, manners, and behavior for different ethnic groups (and everybody will get along). It was a shuck and jive. To be a coherent nation requires a common culture, the same standards for all citizens. That was America’s strength when we were strong, not our “diversity.”
The Law. The Woke judiciary is punking America thanks largely to appointments made by Barack Obama and “Joe Biden.” It’s extremely difficult to get rid of political “activist” judges with lifetime appointments. Or to wait for the SCOTUS to reverse their multitudinous noxious rulings. But it’s less difficult to put out-of-business the small cadre of lawfare ninjas who bring all the lawsuits that their chosen activist judges rule on — namely, Norm Eisen, Marc Elias and their many associates. They have engaged in manifold seditions from RussiaGate to the Mar-a-Lago raid and are liable for prosecution for the roles they played. Eisen and Elias run numerous NGOs that assist their shenanigans. The funding streams to them can be turned off, especially if any of the money comes from foreign entities, such as Arabella Advisors (and its pass-through orgs) or from foreign nationals like Swiss billionaire Hansjörg Wyss and Shanghai-based Neville Roy Singham (currently under investigation by a New York federal grand jury). George Soros’s many Open Society affiliated NGOs have been busy for years pumping money into state attorney general and many county district attorney elections. In a 5–4 ruling on the case Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission (2010), the Supreme Court held that the First Amendment bars the government from limiting independent spending on political speech by corporations, unions, and other associations. A later D.C. Circuit decision, SpeechNow.org v. FEC, led to the creation of “Super PACs” (political action committees) that can spend unlimited sums on activism as long as they do not give money directly to candidates or coordinate with them. Years later, there is a growing consensus that these decisions led to tremendous mischief in politics and the administration of law. They can be revisited.
Fraud and Grift. Artificial Intelligence (or “Super Intelligence,” if you like) is already pretty good. Good enough to trace money flows from the US Treasury through states such as Minnesota, New York, Illinois, and California, and further down the line into local orgs like the now-infamous Minneapolis “Learing” Center and the Feeding Our Future scam. AI can go over their books super-efficiently, too. Veep JD Vance is probably already using AI on his Task Force to Eliminate Fraud. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent estimated aggregate fraud in annual government spending at around half a trillion dollars a year.
Free and Fair Elections. It’s astounding that there’s any disagreement over the provisions in the SAVE ACT: only citizens can vote. . . ID required. . . One-day only election with results next day at the latest. . . Mail-in voting only for military, voters too ill to go to the polls, and persons out-of-the-country for a good reason. It’s a sign of epic dysfunction that we go into the midterms having failed to move this bill through a Republican-controlled Senate.
This is just a casual survey of a few things in our national life that need repair. You have to ask: who is behind all the pretending. What stands in the way of getting any of this done? I think you know.

Fifteen years ago, a dark movie called We Need to Talk about Kevin told the story of a mother struggling to understand why her sociopathic teenaged son had gone on a murder spree at home and at school. In the same vein, we need to talk about Democrats.
We should have had a national conversation about Democrat violence back in 2017, when an Illinois Democrat and Bernie Sanders supporter attempted to assassinate an entire baseball team of Republican members of the U.S. House and Senate. While the would-be assassin failed to murder anyone before being neutralized, he did manage to shoot four people, including House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, who was one of two critically injured. The mass murder attempt could have easily been much worse. Twenty-four Republican congressmen were on the field that day, and had the Democrat assassin been successful, he would have substantially shifted the balance of power in Congress. It was an unprecedented attack on one of the three branches of the federal government.
Instead of acknowledging the seriousness of Democrat violence, Establishment Republicans and Democrats joined hands and pretended that the assassination attempt was the fault of “both parties.” Former Republican Senator Jeff Flake lectured the country to “tone it down” because “discourse” had “gotten out of hand…on all sides” — which was his way of blaming newly-inaugurated President Trump for saying things that might provoke a Democrat to murder two dozen Republican congressmen.
The shooter had a list of Republican congressmen in his pocket and another list of Republican congressmen in a storage locker. Amazingly, he even asked two Republican members of Congress leaving early that day whether “Republicans or Democrats” were practicing on the baseball field. The would-be assassin had recently written on social media, “Trump is a Traitor. Trump Has Destroyed Our Democracy. It’s Time to Destroy Trump & Co.” The aspiring mass murderer also belonged to Facebook groups named, “Terminate the Republican Party,” and “The Road To Hell Is Paved With Republicans.”
Nevertheless, the FBI refused to ascribe a motive to the shooter and initially designated the attack as “suicide by cop.” Only after significant public outcry did the FBI reclassify the mass assassination attempt as an act of “domestic terrorism” and correctly acknowledge that the Democrat shooter was a “domestic violent extremist” with a “personalized violent ideology.”
The FBI’s ludicrous efforts to cover up the partisan nature of the attack reflected Establishment Washington’s similarly ludicrous framing of the assassination attempt as a natural and justified response to President Trump’s political rhetoric. Unofficially, D.C.’s “ruling class” seemed to be saying that President Trump and his MAGA supporters deserved to be attacked.
In contrast, after the president’s supporters protested the mail-in-ballot-tainted 2020 election at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, Establishment Washington immediately labeled the incident an “attack” and defamed unarmed Americans as “domestic terrorists,” “seditionists,” and “traitors.” Politicians, FBI and DOJ officials, news media commentators, and even judges preposterously compared Republicans’ protests against election fraud to 9/11’s Islamic terror attacks, Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor, and a U.S. Civil War that claimed as many as 850,000 lives.
They made these absurd comparisons — unmoored from reason or respect for history — after excusing as “social justice” the widespread violence and property destruction during the previous summer as Democrat-aligned domestic terrorists from Antifa and Black Lives Matter burned down cities, looted stores, left a trail of unsolved homicides, and caused more property damage than any other riot in American history. Establishment D.C.’s double-standard was as revolting as it was shocking.
This double-standard — in which Democrat violence is justified as “protest” or “free speech” while Republican protest is falsely described as “violence” and “terrorism” — surely contributed to every subsequent attack on conservative Americans, including the multiple assassination attempts on President Trump and the successful assassination of Charlie Kirk.
There is something incredibly disturbing about Democrats’ current state of mind.
Nearly two years after the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic, the Heartland Institute and Rasmussen Reports conducted a statistically significant poll that showed just how much Democrats supported extreme measures against Americans who refused the experimental mRNA “vaccines.” In 2022, fifty-five percent of Democrat voters supported government efforts to fine “unvaccinated” Americans. Fifty-nine percent of Democrats were in favor of confining “unvaccinated” Americans in their homes. Forty-eight percent of Democrats supported fining and imprisoning Americans “who publicly question the efficacy” of the experimental mRNA “vaccines.” Forty-five percent of Democrats believed that the government should relocate “unvaccinated” Americans to quarantine camps. Forty-seven percent of Democrats thought the government should monitor and track “unvaccinated” Americans. And twenty-nine percent of Democrats wanted the government to remove children from parents who refused the “vaccine.”
A more recent poll reveals just how comfortable Democrats are with violence against those who disagree with them. The ideologically leftist Center for Strategic Politics polled only Democrat voters about how they would “feel” if President Trump were unable to complete his term under five different scenarios. Eighty-seven percent said they would feel “very” or “somewhat positive” if the president were impeached, convicted, and removed from office. Eighty-four percent would feel “very” or “somewhat positive” if Trump’s cabinet declared him unfit and removed him from office. Fifty-five percent would feel “very” or “somewhat positive” if Trump died in his sleep. Fifty-nine percent would feel “very” or “somewhat positive” — and an additional thirteen percent would have no feelings one way or the other — if a faction of the U.S. military overthrew the president and assumed control over the federal government. Lastly, thirty-two percent would feel “very” or “somewhat positive” — and an additional twenty-five percent would have no feelings about the matter — if President Trump were assassinated. Looking at those last two disturbing possibilities more closely, seventy-two percent of Democrats would be okay with a military coup, and fifty-seven percent of democrats would be okay with a presidential assassination.
These results reinforce other polls that demonstrate Democrats’ proclivity for political violence. In 2025, Rutgers University’s Social Perception Lab partnered with the Network of Contagion Research Institute to investigate the emerging “assassination culture” gripping the political left. Their research showed that fifty-five percent of left-leaning Americans supported the assassination of President Trump. After the 2024 assassination attempt on the president in Butler, Pennsylvania, the Manhattan Institute found that a third of Democrats “wished” that Trump had been murdered.
After a “transgender”-loving leftist assassinated Charlie Kirk last year, Democrats widely celebrated his murder on social media. A female nurse in Atlanta wrote, “Fuck his kids. Fuck his ancestors, especially the bitch who birthed him.” A year later, Democrats across the country — including professors, teachers, and doctors — are still openly celebrating his political assassination.
Similarly, alleged “comedian” Bill Burr thinks the worst thing about Luigi Mangione’s assassination of healthcare executive Brian Thompson is that the cold-blooded murder hasn’t convinced insurance companies to change the way they do business. Another alleged “comedian,” leftist John Oliver, recently excused Mangione’s cowardly act because, “Luigi is hot.”
Democrats’ publicly expressed enthusiasm for murder has become so disgusting to non-leftist (read: sane) Americans that The New York Times recently assigned two writers to defend their ideological allies’ macabre enjoyment of political violence. Describing Democrats’ triumphant celebrations of the murders of Kirk and Thompson as part of a “pitched battle over political dissent and free speech,” leftist scribblers at that rotting corpse once called “America’s newspaper of record” did their best to make violent, bloodthirsty Democrats look patriotic — or at least normal! As has become its custom, the Times failed.
Consider the Times apologia for political violence a reminder that too many Democrats embrace murder and other evils. The left thinks “assassination culture” is chic. Prepare to defend yourself accordingly.
