More details are emerging, via the media, with no explanation by the FBI, DHS or the Obama administration, leading to quite a few unanswered questions the media should be asking and Americans should be demanding answers to.
Timeline Of Reporting
FRIDAY
Friday night one of the suspected Boston Marathon bombers, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, was taken into custody after a daylong manhunt following a violent night, which resulted in the death of the second suspected bomber, his brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev.
CBS News, among others, reported the FBI had questioned Tamerlan back in 2011, "at the request of a foreign government to see if he had any extremist ties, but failed to find any linkage."
On Friday night three others were taken into custody , two males and one female, in relation to the two bombing suspects, then released.
SATURDAY
The two males that were taken into custody, then released on Friday night, were arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on "immigration violations."
Earlier Saturday afternoon, a silver mini-van with consulate license plates arrived at the Carriage Drive apartment along with the FBI and Homeland Security, and stayed a half an hour longer than the agents. The van left with two women, neither of whom appeared to be restrained. One was carrying a pink backpack as she exited the apartment and ran into the van, which sped away as the women told reporters they did not wish to comment. (Source)
Saturday The Daily Mirror and IBTimes reported that according to sources the FBI is looking into a "12-strong sleeper cell" in connection to the Boston Marathon bombings. That report has not been independently verified by American media.
SUNDAY
Boston Mayor Tom Menino tells ABC's "This Week" that "that a pipe bomb was found at another location and that another person was taken into custody. Yet, Mayor Menino insists the Boston bombers acted alone. (Source)
THE RUN AROUND - RE: ICE ARRESTS
South Coast Today reports:
An FBI spokeswoman could not provide any information on the two men, both of whom were led away in handcuffs around 3:50 p.m. Saturday, or anything related to the apartment, citing the “ongoing” nature of the investigation.

Efforts by The Standard-Times to identify the van's consulate did not provide any answers, and the FBI spokeswoman had no information about it. A U.S. Department of State spokeswoman said her agency was “not privy” to the investigation and referred The Standard-Times back to the FBI.
Those are the reports, the facts as known at the moment. Without explanation from the Obama administration, the facts are leading to more questions without answers.
For example: Do authorities believe the two men arrested by ICE on "immigration violations" and the two women taken away by an unknown consulate, to be part of some "sleeper cell" and are removing them from the country because they don't have enough evidence to charge them with anything but need them gone to prevent any further terrorist activities?
Or is it all more innocent and the investigation into the Boston bombing suspects simply led authorities to identify immigration violations?
Another example: Boston Mayor Tom Menino claims the Boston Marathon bombers acted alone, then admits another arrest was made and another pipe bomb was located.
If as the Mayor claims, the Boston bombers were acting alone, that leaves only one other obvious conclusion, there was another incident, unrelated to the Boston Marathon bombings according to the mayor, yet we aren't seeing reports of another possible bombing prevented by a wholly separate entity?
Another question: Why is the Daily Mirror and IBTimes the only outlets reporting the FBI investigation into a "12-strong sleeper cell?"
Is it because the reports are not accurate or because once again the Obama administration has asked the American media to delay reporting, which both the New York Times and Washington Post has admitted previously that he has done and that they complied?
One of its revelations is the location of a drone base in Saudi Arabia. The Times and other news organizations, including The Washington Post, had withheld the location of that base at the request of the C.I.A., but The Times decided to reveal it now because, according to the managing editor, Dean Baquet, it was at the heart of this particular article and because examining Mr. Brennan’s role demanded it.
Obama once said "This is the most transparent administration in history,” Obama said during a Google Plus “Fireside” Hangout.
Meh, not so much.
Keeping that in mind, it seems the questions posed above and more, about the investigation into the Boston Marathon bombings and the subsequent removal from the scene of the bombing suspect's friends, are valid and deserve prompt answers.
