The Washington Post's the Fact Checker has given the Obama campaign another four Pinocchios for his latest claims in anti-Romney ads.
The claim from the ad:
“Running for governor, Mitt Romney campaigned as a job creator. But as a corporate raider, he shipped jobs to China and Mexico. As governor, he did the same thing: Outsourcing state jobs to India.”
Wapo's conclusion:
The Obama campaign fails to make its case. On just about every level, this ad is misleading, unfair and untrue, from the use of “corporate raider” to its examples of alleged outsourcing. Simply repeating the same debunked claims won’t make them any more correct.
There is a detailed explanation for how that conclusion was come to which added with the other multiple pages of lies that have been fact checked by Wapo and PolitiFact, shows a candidate up for reelection that cannot run on his own record, cannot use honest attacks against his challenger, Mitt Romney, and is forced to repeat lies that have already been debunked by fact checking organizations.
