In my very first post about the Wall Street Occupiers I mentioned the differences between the Occupy Wall Street protests and the Tea Party protests, mainly how one group thrives on making a political difference while the other gets their attention from breaking the law, making a mess and being arrested for protesting against people that do not make or change laws.Well over a thousand people have been arrested in different cities across the country for unlawful acts while protesting against whatever the hell they are protesting against.
Some say it is corporate greed they are protesting while wearing and utilizing equipment made from the very corporations they are protesting. Some say it is the rich they are protesting and as Donald Trump Jr. noticed and tweeted about, some protesting are wearing Rolex watches.
Whatever their point is, whatever they think they are accomplishing other than getting media attention, some states are not as lax as New York in cracking down on the protesters when they break the law.
Boston:
Boston police moved in and began arresting scores of Occupy Boston protesters who refused to leave a large part of the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway early this morning.
At 1:20 a.m., the first riot police officers lined up on Atlantic Avenue. Minutes later, dozens of sheriff vans and police wagons arrived and over 200 officers in uniforms and riot gear surrounded the Greenway.
Police Superintendent William Evans and Commissioner Edward F. Davis watched from across the street. Evans gave the crowd two minutes to disperse from the park, warning that they would be locked up if they did not comply.
The crowd of protesters, energized by the sudden appearance of the Boston and Transit police officers, chanted, ‘‘The people united will never be defeated,’’ “This is a peaceful protest,” and “the whole world is watching.’’
About 10 minutes later, the first officers entered the park and surrounded the group. Evans, using a loudspeaker, gave one more warning and then each protester was individually put on his or her stomach, cable-tied, and dragged off as others tore down tents and arrested and detained people on the fringe of the park.
About 100 people were arrested, Davis said. One police officer was hit in the face.
According to police, no protesters or police were injured.
Recently I showed how Democratic leaders were trying to "harness" the anger of the Occupiers and were embracing them publicly. I said and have reiterated that I hope Democrats continue to own this movement. Publicly join, publicly encourage Obama's deliberate stoking of class war which has already led to death threats emailed to the NY Assembly members.The longer these protests go on, the more out of control they get, the more harm will come to the political careers of each Democrat that does publicly embrace them.
When I use the term out of control, that isn't just from my disagreement with the political agenda of the Occupiers, I am observing the increase of violent rhetoric and behavior of the Occupiers.
Occupy Threat Center" created by ListenLogic has analyzed over "one million social media posts" and their findings should concern not only Wall Street, but every single politician that has embraced the Occupiers.
They have found significant increases in all of the following areas;
•Social media activity from Occupy supporters and activists promoting physical destruction and violent action.
•Direct and specific threats from Occupy "hacktivist" groups against specific financial and law enforcement targets.
•Funding and support from national labor unions including the AFL-CIO, SEIU, Transit Workers Union, United Auto Workers, and the United Federation of Teachers
•Support from community organizations, including MoveOn.org, ACORN, and Rebuild the Dream
•Social media posts, videos and images targeting: financial institutions that issue mortgages and student loans and that initiate foreclosures; corporate entities that received bailout money or government subsidies; companies that pay high executive salaries or bonuses; and companies perceived to be paying extremely low taxes.
Vincent Schiavone, founder and chairman of ListenLogic, a company that gives corporate clients advance warning of cyber attacks and of other threats circulating on the Internet, says the increase of violent threats is "alarming."
He continues on to say that "there's an increase in 'let's kill' them. We see 'eat the rich,' 'kill the wealthy.' There are images circulating of senior executives being decapitated, images of blood. Artists are releasing images of banks on fire."

Which, as a conservative, I am glad to see headlines like this from The New York Times "Wall Street Protests Gain Support From Leading Democrats,", then again, perhaps NYT editors also see the downside because they changed that headline to "Protests Offer Help, and Risk, for Democrats."
