Dramatic 'Sound Of Silence' In Zimmerman Defense Closing Argument, (Video)

By Susan Duclos

One of the most dramatic moments of  the George Zimmerman trial came during closing arguments when defense attorney Mark O'Mara, paused for a full four minutes, to illustrate the large gap in the prosecutions telling of the timeline of events on the night Tayvon Martin was shot.

It has been dubbed "The Sound of Silence," and can be heard at Breitbart TV.  Then O'Mara tells the jury to not to "fill in the gaps" in the prosecution's case against George Zimmerman.

After the four solid minutes of silence, O'Mara tells the jury, "That's how long Trayvon Martin had to run."
