This video above was taken in Nashua, New Hampshire, this afternoon where Joe Biden tells the crowd that Hillary is as qualified or more qualified as he is.
"Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America.
Let’s get that straight. She’s a truly close personal friend; she is qualified to be president of the United States of America. She’s easily qualified to be vice president of the United States of America and quite frankly it might have been a better pick than me, but she is first-rate.”
It is possible there are 18 million Hillary Clinton voters that would agree with Biden.
Why would he say that?
Something has gone seriously wrong with the Democrats these past couple of weeks.
There's praising a colleague effusively.
And then, there's going so far that the praise diminishes yourself.
What are the chances of Barack Obama trading Biden in for Hillary Clinton at this point?
[Update] John McCain's campaign caught wind of this and ABC's Political Radar reports their reaction, via spokesman Ben Porritt:
Barack Obama’s most important decision of this election and Biden - the candidate he selects - suggests himself that he wasn’t the right man for the job and that Hillary Clinton would have been a better choice. Biden certainly has a credible viewpoint on this."
