The National Rifle Association (NRA) has begun it's effort to "Stand And Fight" and it's opening volley is the first in a series of videos, first released to The Blaze, calling Barack Obama and "elitist" and "hypocrite."
Video Blow:
The National Rifle Association on Tuesday provided TheBlaze an exclusive look at its new video, which criticizes President Barack Obama’s opposition to having armed guards in more schools across the United States. The gun rights organization refers to the commander-in-chief as a “hypocrite” and an “elitist” in the scathing production.
Noting that Obama’s children are protected by armed guards at their school, the video asks: “Are the president’s kids more important than yours?”“Mr. Obama demands the wealthy pay their fair share of taxes, but he’s just another elitist hypocrite when it comes to a fair share of security,” the video adds.“Protection for their kids and gun free zones for ours,” the video concludes.
Last week Politico report NRA membership had surged by over 100,000 people, five days later, that has again increased by an additional 150,000 members, making their growth of a quarter of a million members in a one month period. (Source- US News and World Report)
"I would say that every time President Obama opens his mouth and Sen. [Dianne] Feinstein opens her mouth and they talk about gun bans and restricting the rights of law abiding Americans, people pay attention to that and sign up," says Andrew Arulanandam, the NRA's public affairs director.
According to the NRA membership join page, normal membership fees are $35 for one year, $60 for two and $85 for three, but for a limited time, they are offering a one year membership for $25, two year for $50 for two year and $70 for a three year membership.
As Barack Obama prepares to announce a number of executive orders on gun control to bypass Congress, expect the membership numbers for NRA to surge again, as they will be leading the pack in the fight against Obama violating every American's Second Amendment right, by decree.
