Americans Attacked Again On 9/11- Media Attacks Romney For Noticing Obama's Failures

By Susan Duclos

U.S. embassies were attacked on 9/11, Americans were murdered in cold blood again on 9/11. Attacks continue on embassies on 9/13 and Obama is attends fundraisers in Vegas and continues with campaign events and the media just turn a blind eye and plays dead.

All over a crude movie about Mohammed that most of the world never would have seen at all had the Muslim extremists not gone on a killing rampage. (Movie trailer here)

Mitt Romney noticed, made the speech that Barack Obama should have made with the strength and language that Obama should have used when he said "America will not tolerate attacks against our citizens and against our embassies. We will defend also our constitutional rights of speech and assembly and religion.. We respect our Constitution. We stand for the principles our Constitution protects. We encourage other nations to understand and respect the principles of our Constitution because we recognize that these principles are the ultimate source of freedom for individuals around the world."

“I also believe the Administration was wrong to stand by a statement sympathizing with those who had breached our embassy in Egypt instead of condemning their actions. It’s never too early for the United States Government to condemn attacks on Americans, and to defend our values. The White House distanced itself last night from the statement, saying it wasn’t ‘cleared by Washington.’ That reflects the mixed signals they’re sending to the world.

Romney's whole speech, via video and transcript can be found here.

Later Romney said "I think it's a terrible course for America to apologize for our values."

In Obama's speech, he said "The United States condemns in the strongest terms this outrageous and shocking attack.  We're working with the government of Libya to secure our diplomats.  I've also directed my administration to increase our security at diplomatic posts around the world.  And make no mistake, we will work with the Libyan government to bring to justice the killers who attacked our people.

Since our founding, the United States has been a nation that respects all faiths.  We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others.  But there is absolutely no justification to this type of senseless violence.  None.  The world must stand together to unequivocally reject these brutal acts."

Romney also noticed that the U.S. Embassy in Cairo which is part of the Obama administration, produced public statements that sympathized with the attackers, the murderers of U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three other diplomats. Later the White House disavowed those apologies, but the fact remains that the Cairo embassy falls under the rule of Obama's administration.

Did lines get crossed? Did the embassy in Cairo simply do what they thought Obama would have wanted? Were they following Obama's previous precedents of appeasement? The reasons really don't matter. They did it. Obama officials are still doing it, attacking the film, instead of standing up for any idiot's protected free speech rights.

The buck ultimately stops with Obama.

Romney was right to point it out. Administration officials actually agreed with Romney that the statement sent mixed signals.

Protests also broke out in Sudan, Kuwait and Morocco, then more were scheduled for  Algeria and Tunisia.

The media, so stuck up Obama's butt, started attacking Mitt Romney for daring to talk about foreign policy and national security issues, instead of noticing that Obama hopped on a plane and headed to Vegas for a fundraiser while while the Middle East exploded in anti-American protests.

By the way our Yemen embassy was attacked on Thursday, September 13, 2012 and Obama is scheduled for another campaign event according to the White House website schedule page.

The media also criticized Romney for politicizing the deaths of Americans, yet that same media wasn't criticizing Obama in 2008 for politicizing the deaths of 9 Americans.(H/T Hot Air who has the flashback video)

Pointing out Obama's foreign policy bungling, and appeasement failures is exactly what Mitt Romney should be doing because when the world sees Obama's weakness, his words and his administration's words of appeasement instead of righteous anger and determination to protect our constitutional right of free speech whether he agrees with it or not, then they will continue to attack, knowing Obama will do nothing in retaliation.

If the media would pull their heads out of Obama ass for just a second, perhaps they would notice that he failed his 3AM moment, just as Hillary Clinton said he would in 2008.
