70 Yr Old Martin Luther King Jr. High School Women's Basketball Coach Shoots Attackers

By Susan Duclos

Via ABC 7 Action News:

Police sources tell 7 Action News that a women's basketball coach from Martin Luther King, Jr. Senior High School shot two men who attacked him as he was walking two basketball players to their cars in the school parking lot.

Police sources say the coach was walking the two girls to their cars when two men allegedly approached and one pulled out a gun and grabbed him by his chain necklace. The coach then pulled out his gun and shot both of them, according to sources.

The man who shot the attackers was 70 years old, according to police.

The 70 yr old coach had a Concealed Pistol License and is cooperating with the authorities.

Via Action News  both attackers  had attended the high school, and one had been recently expelled.

Meaning that once again, since High School students are too young to own a gun legally, there is a better than good chance that the attackers obtained their guns illegally and the 70 yr old coach defended the girls and himself with a legally owned and carried weapon.

This is what Second Amendment supporters have been asserting all along, criminals do not obey the laws and it takes a good guy with a gun to stop a bad guy with a gun.
