Democratic Representative, Henry Waxman, States The Best Reason To Vote For Mitt Romney In 2012

By Susan Duclos

Democratic Representative Henry Waxman may not have meant to give American voters one of the best reasons to vote for Mitt Romney and to hand control of the Senate over to Republicans, but he has done so none-the-less.

For those that oppose Obamacare and want it repealed in full and replaced, Waxman just told them how to do it.

Republicans can repeal Obamacare with a 51-vote majority in the U.S. Senate through budget reconciliation, according to an architect of the health care law, Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., who also made a death panel-style indictment of the Republican budget.

“I think they could do it,” Waxman told Newsmakers when asked about reconciliation. “I think the American people have to understand that if they vote for Romney and they vote for Republicans to have control of the house and the senate, there’s a good chance that the health care bill will be wiped out and all these benefits will be wiped out.”

Any specific benefits can be replaced by Republicans if they control both houses of Congress and the White House,, but by doing exactly as Waxman says and voting for Romney for President in 2012, and Republicans to control the Senate, below is a chart of one "benefit" Americans will be glad to to see wiped out.

$501 billion dollars of taxes to which 75 percent will hit middle class families that make less than $120,000 a year.

[Update] Forbes Staff writer Ashlea Ebeling lists the 7 major tax hikes that affect people making less than $250,000 a year, which Barack Obama drew a line in the sand, and promised to never raise taxes on anyone that made less than that.
