"If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will be either be dead or in jail by this time next year."--- Ted Nugent
"And if you take that adamant ‘we the people’ defiance," Nugent continued, "We’re Americans because we defy the king. We didn’t negotiate and compromise with the king. We defied the emperors. We are patriots. We are bravehearts."
He concluded with a battle metaphor: "We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November! Any questions?"
Boy did that kick off a firestorm, the DNC had a complete meltdown as the DNC press secretary Melanie Roussell took to Twitter with more than a 30 tweet snit fit. DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz had her own comments over Nugent's words to which Nugent responded by calling her a "sub-human punk."
The Secret Service will investigate Nugent headlines followed to which Nugent responded to conservative talk show host Dana Loesch Tuesday by saying "The Secret Service are my buddies, they work for me. I pay their salary."
Listen to Nugent’s interview with Dana Loesch below:
Nugent is making the interview rounds on talk radio and says he is having "the time of my life" with the ruckus his comments have caused.
Quote of the day from Nugent in the audio above: "I am like Mother Theresa with a guitar compared to Obama's gang."
[Update] In the Loesch interview (above) it is Nancy Pelosi who is called "subhuman punk."
