The RNC has a 16 second video up at their website with Obama sing the blues while on screen it denotes the rising cost of gas via a chart. The video was published late February and gas prices have continued to rise.
"Unfortunately for America, Barack Obama has had us all singin' the blues with rising energy costs and failed energy policies. His recent rejection of the Keystone XL pipeline denied thousands of Americans jobs in addition to an affordable, secure energy source. In November, Americans will be able to send the president and his failed policies into retirement, where he will be able to sing the blues all day," RNC Chairman Reince Priebus said in a statement.

Yesterday I spotted a Twitter message by @SamZang which pretty much said it all.

This comes the very same week that Senate Democrats killed a bill that would open the door to the Keystone Pipeline, where Republicans fell four votes shy of passing the bill with 11 Democrats voting with the GOP, after Barack Obama personally lobbied Senate Democrats to push them to vote against the bill.
The impact from the spiking gas prices are already being seen in the grocery store and expected to be felt elsewhere for months to come, according to Statesman.com.
