Remembering Roger W. Gardner (Video)

Many of you will remember Roger W. Gardner's writings and his feisty comments here at Wake up America. Roger was former military, fiercely pro-American and spoke with absolute clarity about the moral, racial and religious issues that plagued this country. His voice was unique. There was never a moment of doubt about his message. Today and for many days in the future, we will be remembering Rog.

We are mourning the loss of our friend, and owner of Radarsite, Roger Gardner. He battled leukemia for a little over a year. We learned yesterday through an email from his son Geoff, saying that Roger lost his battle on Thursday evening, December 17th.

Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 North Avenue in Haverhill, Massachusetts took "amazing" care of Roger, according to Geoff, and as his friends out here in his conservative blog network know, his family, who he loved so very much, were always there for him.

All of the photos and the video in this post are courtesy of Norm Hooben at Storm'n Norm'n. Norm was one of the few of Roger's blogging friends who was fortunate to meet him in person. Here are a few memories from Norm:

I got to meet Roger on two occasions and was very impressed with his knowledge of early Roman history...he was very well read and had an array of books in his small but comfortable apartment.

Some of you may remember the video I took during one of my visits...he was also
an excellent musician (self-taught, I believe) ...
My prayers are for his family and friends...I'm speechless at the moment but I know Roger is with Our Creator...Norm

Over the coming days, you will find additional memories and tributes at Radarsite, as well as our favorites among Roger's outstanding writings. If you have a favorite article by Roger, please leave it in the comment section and we will add it to our list.
