The left is banding together on a call to action of sorts and for once, I am going to agree with them and encourage the Right to join in and let OUR voices and OUR message be heard to counter the voices of the Retreat in Defeat Crowd.
Never let it be said, I didn't agree, once in a while, with an idea from a liberal rag.
If you agree, call Sen. Harry Reid today: he can be reached at 202-224-3542 in DC and 702-388-5020 in Nevada. For reasons why this is important, see here. Or you can use the following toll-free numbers (H/T to katymine for these):
1 (800) 828 - 0498
1 (800) 459 - 1887
1 (800) 614 - 2803
1 (866) 340 - 9281
1 (866) 338 - 1015
1 (877) 851 - 6437
Lets counter those hateful voices that have but one wish: To force America to surrender, with our wish,: To achieve Victory and to let General Petraeus continue with the amazing success he and our troops have been achieving over the last month.
Still here? Come on!!!! Pick up that phone and start dialing. Keep dialing. Don't let up.
Harry "Baghdad" Reid wants an all night session? Lets give him one.

[Update] Republicans call Reid's publicity stunt for what it is and yawn.
Senate Republican leaders, alerted to Reid's plans on Monday, said they have the votes to keep the president's surge policy in place, at least for now, and called Reid's up-all-night gambit a stunt that wouldn't change any minds.

Republicans predict that amendment will fall well short of the 60 votes required and probably attract no more than 55 votes, possibly fewer. Other non-binding policy changes are expected as well, but nothing is expected to garner the required 60 votes.
"The much-discussed Republican revolt has yet to materialize," a senior GOP aide said.
Set those roll away beds up folks, The defeat crowd is fighting a losing battle.
GOP is more than willing to debate all night... heh.
[CORRECTION ADDED HERE] The all nighter is supposed to be tonight, 7/17/07, I was mistaken in thinking Baghdad Reid meant last night]
Silliness.
Michael P.F. van der Galiƫn points out how hypocritical the democrats are these days. Let me tell you why I like this guy, he isn't from America, has no personal stake in our politics, and is equally critical of Republican games as he is Democrat's games, when he sees them. (CORRECTION: It is Michael's blog but the writer of this specific piece is Jason Steck, still, from reading Moderate Voice, Steck is also good and calls em like he sees em, whether I agree with what he says on any given day, or not)
Bookmark him. Its worth it.
[Update #2] Take Our Country Back has an excellent commentary aimed at Baghdad Reid, head over and read it. So very accurate.
[Update] 7/17/07- This thread was getting confusing, so I have started a second thread HERE, with todays news and there is quite a bit of it.
