Once again acting as dictator rather than president, Barack Obama is creating a new tax against cell phone owners, using the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to implement it, in order to fund his initiative to provide highspeed Internet to schools across the country.
By using executive powers to do so, he is once again bypassing Congress and their authority to approve or deny additional taxation on Americans.
Via TheBlaze: "The program is expected to cost somewhere between $4 and $6 billion, the Standard-Examiner reports, adding that the plan should cost cellphone users roughly $12 in fees over three years."
This new tax will be above and beyond the taxes already being charged to cell phone owners, which includes local, state and federal fees, along with sales taxes.
