I am not sure how old you are, how much history you are aware of, therefore I do not know how much you know about the Holocaust, so in order to understand fully the points I am going to make, do a little reading about the holocaust, I have a post called "How Much Do YOU Know About The Holocaust", it is part of my featured posts on the left sidebar as well as "Never Forget".
Only by understanding the past can we truly appreciate the situation that Israel is now in and only then can we see that we are letting history repeat itself in front of the whole world.
Hitler declared his intentions towards the Jewish people, clearly and publicly and no one raised a finger to stop him until millions of Jews, Gypsy's, sick, disabled or simply elderly had been experimented on and killed.
Three quarters of a century later, people have forgotten history, and we are once again, watching a madman, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, making the same types of threats towards Israel, declaring that Israel will be wiped off the map, and once again, we are sitting back and doing nothing.
Iran, with Syria as its puppet, now has Hamas, armed and firing rockets into Israel's cities, in the Gaza, on one side of Israel, they also have Hizbullah, stockpiling rockets along Israels northern border, right under the nose of the UN that is there to prevent it, and then, finally we have Syria, according to Arab News making full war preparations for war with Israel. Hamas:
June 15, 2007 -- ISRAEL'S disengagement from Gaza, completed 22 months ago, has succeeded.
It was a demonstration project of a sort - an experiment in Palestinian self-rule. If the management of Gaza had gone well, there would have been a Palestinian state within three years, tops.
OK, now speak these three words to yourself: a Palestinian state.
Finished? Good. So are the words. They won't be coming out of anybody's mouth again for a very, very long time - at least not in any meaningful way.
Someone asked Benjamin Franklin what America got out of the Constitutional Convention of 1787. His reply: "A republic - if you can keep it."
So it was with Gaza in August 2005. The Palestinians got a "homeland, if you can keep it."
What they got instead was hell on earth.
What they got was two brutally murderous gangs, Fatah and Hamas, competing for power by throwing people off the roofs of buildings and slaughtering rivals in front of their wives and children.

This isn't a civil war - it's a gang war. And thousands of Palestinian bystanders are going to get shot while these two gangs go to the mattresses.
Lets take a second here to see what the "Palentinian bystanders" want right now.
In a piece called "The enemy of my enemy" we showed you what the Palestinians are now asking for:
People in Gaza Long for the Return of the Israeli Occupation
Papers reported that some people in Gaza even want the Israelis to return to the Strip. Faiz Abbas and Muhammad Awwad, journalists for the Israeli-Arab weekly Al-Sinara, wrote: "People in Gaza are hoping that Israel will reenter the Gaza Strip, wipe out both Hamas and Fatah, and then withdraw again... They also say that, since the [start of the] massacres, they [have begun to] miss the Israelis, since Israel is more merciful than [the Palestinian gunmen] who do not even know why they are fighting and killing one another. It's like organized crime, [they said]. Once, we resisted Israel together, but now we call for the return of the Israeli army to Gaza."
So, after decades of blaming the Jews for all their problems, they now want the Israel people to take care of them again because they got what they wanted and have now decided they don't like it?

Ah, the joys of self-rule.
Ariel Sharon, the Israeli prime minister who conceived the disengagement plan, had a brilliant insight: Why not let them have it? They want it? It's theirs.
After all, over the course of Israel's 38 years of occupation, fewer than 10,000 Jews actually sought to live in Gaza - and their settlements required tens of thousands of other Israelis to risk their lives protecting them.
The Palestinians spent decades professing their detestation of Israeli occupation and demanding self-rule . . . so Israel gave them their heart's desire.
Gaza is Judenrein - emptied of all Jews, just as Hitler dreamed Germany would be. No Jews live in Gaza. No Jews patrol Gaza. It's Jew-Free-by-the-Sea, with a charming Mediterranean coast worth billions of dollars in tourism and trade.
So what's the problem?
The problem is that the Jews weren't the problem.
The problem is that the Palestinians are the problem: They are drenched in an ideology of blood and murder and suicide.
Captain's Quarters, once again, states it clearly in a nutshell:
We've seen some of the same nonsense in comments here, and that's exactly what it is -- nonsense. People have been pushing for a two-state solution since at least Oslo, but no one wanted to confront the reality of the Palestinian condition. Holding elections and withdrawing from Gaza proved what many had tried to tell the world: that the Palestinians weren't interested in two-state solutions.
In a free and fair election, the people get the government they choose. The Palestinians chose the worst of two terrorist groups to govern them. That finally forced the US and the EU to quit pretending that the Palestinians as a whole were a peace-loving people who just wanted their own piece of land. The Palestinians want to destroy Israel, and they voted for the faction that most clearly expressed that desire as policy.
When Sharon withdrew from Gaza, it gave the Palestinians the opportunity to govern themselves. Did they take advantage of it? No. Instead, they immediately set up rocket-launching sites in northern Gaza to attack the Israelis in Sderot, and started killing each other in gangster-like power plays. The PA proved itself completely impotent once given a taste of sovereignty, and instead the radical Islamists have taken over Gaza in that power vacuum.
Thats where things are in the Gaza Strip right now.
So lets move to the the another side of Israel, Lebanon, more specifically, Hizbullah in Lebanon, stockpiling rockets on Israel's northern border, under the ever blind eye of the UN.
Lebanon/Hizbullah:
HEZBOLLAH, the powerful Iranian-backed militia that fought the Israeli army last summer, has built a network of underground military bunkers under the feet of United Nations peacekeeping forces in southern Lebanon close to Israel’s border.
It has rebuilt its fighting capability and Israeli intelligence now estimates that it has stockpiled 20,000 rockets.
“Hezbollah will never leave southern Lebanon,” said Shaul Mofaz, the former defence minister, last week. “It’s now armed with rockets that could hit central and even southern Israel.”
Hezbollah, which was forced to move away from the border as part of last August’s ceasefire deal, has returned by stealth. “Since the Israeli forces left, Hezbollah has been building formidable military underground posts under the noses of the UN,” said an Israeli intelligence officer.
Before last summer’s war in Lebanon Hezbollah had more than 20 positions along the border. All were destroyed by the Israelis, who also killed several hundred fighters.
Soon after the ceasefire agreement Hezbollah began to rebuild its positions in Shi’ite villages close to the Israeli border.
“The entrance to an underground post is usually in the backgarden of a Hezbollah supporter,” said one source. “The householder receives compensation for the use of his garden.”
Modern equipment is used to sink the shafts, sometimes as deep as 70ft. Some bunkers are as wide as a football field, others can hold fewer than 10 fighters.
They are equipped with sophisticated communications equipment and many are believed to be connected by tunnels, limiting Israel’s ability to destroy them from the air.
Since last August huge quantities of arms, including Russian-made antitank missiles, short- and long-range rockets, small arms, mines and ammunition have been smuggled into Lebanon from Syria and Iran.

Syria:
Arab Media Reports Syria Making Preparations for War with Israel
A Qatari newspaper, Al Watan, reported Friday that Syria is making concrete preparations for war with Israel, saying that the Syrian government has removed the Government and State Archives from the Damascus area. According to the paper, this move indicates preparations for war.
Syrian parliament member Muhammad Habash confirmed on Al-Jazeera Arabic world news satellite TV last week that Syria is indeed engaged in active preparations for a war with Israel. The conflict, said the Syrian MP, is expected to break out during the summer months.
Officials close to Prime Minister Ehud Olmert reported Sunday that their efforts to begin negotiations with Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad have gone unanswered. They also said that Mr. Assad’s failure to reply signaled that his claims of wanting peace were not honest and were meant to improve his own status in the international community.
Last week, the head of Mossad, Israel’s international intelligence agency, Meir Dagan, warned that Syrian President Assad was putting up a smoke screen by claiming he wants to open peace talks with the Jewish State.
If you were Israel right now, surrounded by people who are publicly committed to your destruction, armed, firing rockets into your civilian populations...what would you do?
More importantly, what does the rest of the world do?
I once again ask you, readers, how much do YOU know about the Holocaust?
Why do I keep referring to it? Because only by remembering what one sick man, followed by a group of other sick men, can do...in that case, Hitler caused World War II, in this case, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, president of Iran can and has publicly committed himself, to causing what he calls "Armageddon" which History will name, World War III, only by remembering the past can we hope to avoid repeating it.
History repeats itself while we sit back and do nothing to stop it.

Who will we look to when there is no one left to speak out for us?
There is a monster waiting around the corner and after Iran obtains nuclear weapons and has fired one at Israel, and after Israel has retaliated and fired a nuclear weapon back at Iran and as those weapons make their way into our country through our open borders and targeted American cities get hit, death and destruction will surround us and some will cry out "How did this happen?" or "we had no idea" or "who is going to help us?", these will be the answers to those questions:
This happened because we turned a blind eye and allowed it to happen.
We know what is coming but no one is willing to lift a finger to stop it.
The final question of who will help us?
Who stepped up and helped Israel?
The same answer applies.
NO ONE.
I am an American Jew and I am proud to be both, but at the moment, I am disgusted with the way we are all sitting back, watching what Israel is going through, like it is some sort of fictional horror movie and not lifting a finger to stop a situation that will make Iraq look like a day in the park.

The we have idiots that would just sit back and watch Israel be destroyed because they live in denial of how dangerous a nuclear Iran is.
