Candidate Preference For 2010 Elections: Republicans 47 Percent, Democrats 44 Percent

The Gallup poll was conducted after the Obamacare passage and when asked what their candidate voter preference was, the results show 47 percent prefer the Republican candidate in their district rather than the Democratic candidate with 44 percent choosing a Democrat.

An exact mirror image of the results from the March poll.



Other findings in this Gallup poll show that Republican voters are more enthusiastic about voting (50 percent) than Democrats are (35 percent).

In another Gallup poll results showed the majority, 53 percent, of National adults find that methods Democratic leaders used to secure passage of the Obamacare bill was an "abuse of power", with 86 percent of Republicans believing that and 58 percent of Independent voters and only 19 percent of Democrats agreeing.
