A small percentage of Democrats have joined in the Tea Party movement and CNN has an article about them, Roxanne Lewis responds to a question about how she feels after having voted for Barack Obama by stating "I feel lied to, cheated and raped."
Another, Ann Ducket, says "I think we've gone too far on the side of government doing too much. The Democratic Party is wanting to take care of everyone, instead of helping everybody stand on their own two feet."

As the Tea Party grows in numbers and in recognition, individuals from all political backgrounds are joining, which might be the specific reason that Democratic politicians, like Steve Cohen are trying to associate the Tea Party movement with the KKK.
