Visit Wake Up America More Often

We now have science to back our claim up that you should visit Wake up America as often as possible: research shows that using the Internet frequently is healthy for your brain.

That especially goes for middle aged and older people. Luckily for us, especially middle aged individuals are one of the prime targets and consumers of news and opinion websites.

The research was conducted by the university of California. The team found that 'searching the web stimulates centers in the brain that control decision-making and complex reasoning.'

This, in turn, may help 'counter-act the age-related physiological changes that cause the brain to slow down.'

Lead researcher Professor Gary Small said: "The study results are encouraging, that emerging computerized technologies may have physiological effects and potential benefits for middle-aged and older adults.

"Internet searching engages complicated brain activity, which may help exercise and improve brain function."

The latter comments implies you should use our search box (to the left, right below the first ad) every day. Just type a few words on a subject that interests you, and search our archives. Not, of course, merely because we always appreciate more page views (we do), but because it's good for you.
