Lefty Anger and Righty Anger

While the media puts words in people's mouths that aren't actually said as they accused one woman of calling Barack Obama an "Arab terrorists" when in reality she only said "Arab", notice how they tend to ignore actual events in favor of making up stories.

Like two men arrested after throwing a Molotov cocktail at a McCain sign in the yard of Karen Scrutton in Oregon.

According to the press release:

At 1:43am on Saturday morning, Portland Fire & Rescue's Investigators arrested two people. They burned a campaign sign of McCain using Molotov cocktails, located at 7956 SE 17th Ave., causing only minimal damage. After a thorough interview and investigation of the case, they were both charged for:

Manufacturing of a destructive device
Possession of a destructive device

Both were charged with four counts for each felony offense, for a total of eight charges for each, and one was charged with reckless burning.

Update...

The first felon is a white male, Leslie Brockette Leudtke, DOB 2/7/85. He has the additional charge of reckless burning, a total of 9 counts.

The second felon is a white male, Kevin Carl Robinson, DOB 7/23/85.

Let me get this straight, John McCain and Sarah Palin bring up the very real, documented Obama associations with admitted terrorist Bill Ayers, and their crowds see Obama for what he is, a friend of terrorists, a man who sat in the church of Jeremiah Wright for almost 20 years listening to the man slam America, say "God Damn America", side with 9/11 terrorists against America, a man, Obama, that had multiple, documented business dealings with convicted criminal Tony Rezko to the point where Obama himself was forced to admit to his "poor judgment", and when the conservative crowds show anger at those actions, they are reported on.

Yet Obama tells his supporters straight out to "get into people's faces", encourages the mob mentality to the point of causing this type of violent action, and the media tries to ignore it?

"I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors," Barack Obama told a crowd in Elko, Nev. "I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face." Actually, Obama supporters are doing a lot more than getting into people's faces. They seem determined to shut people up.

That's what Obama supporters, alerted by campaign emails, did when conservative Stanley Kurtz appeared on Milt Rosenberg's WGN radio program in Chicago. Kurtz had been researching Obama's relationship with unrepentant Weather Underground terrorist William Ayers in Chicago Annenberg Challenge papers in the Richard J. Daley Library in Chicago -- papers that were closed off to him for some days, apparently at the behest of Obama supporters.

Let me be clear here, very clear.

For years the left has been ranting and railing against the right, threatening to "take to the streets", talking about revolution and such nonsense, while the right sat there, looking at them like they were angry little insects and waving off their idiocy for what it was.

The right, many on the right, finally decided to stop letting the left be the only ones voicing their opinions, the right started to get angry themselves....about damn time too... and the left now thinks anger is bad?

They haven't seen anything yet...this was one sleeping dog they seriously did not want to wake up, yet the have woken him and that dog is not going back to sleep.

I am not the only one noticing how the left is starting to freak out a bit now that the right has decided to speak out against the stupidity, finally.

A couple keyword searches on a blog search brings me to someone else that is noticing this trend.

Say Anything:

The left and their media sock puppets seem to be taken aback that the right is beginning to speak out. And - they should be. They’ve grown used to being able to get away with any level of stupidity, any degree of disruption in the name of protest, while the right quietly goes on with their business.

This is scaring the hell out of them.

Their absolute worst nightmare would be if the right responded to them in kind. If the silent majority suddenly became not so silent. The very idea is frightening to the left - so they call it hate while ignoring the vicious hatred that oozes from the left every single day. It’s easier, after all, to label conservatives as hate filled racists and bigots than it is to admit that their own actions have begun to push the right into a corner - and there will be no choice but to fight back.

Well, take a look around. There’s something happening here, some disturbance in the force. Not much so far, but it could be the tip of a very, very big iceberg.

And if it is, the left should be very afraid. It’s a sleeping giant they really don’t want to wake.

Another result of the search brings up yet another person making the same observations.

A Blog For All:

Frank Rich and Maureen Dowd, two of the columnists who grace the op-ed pages of the New York Times would like you to think that McCain campaign is stoking the fires of hatred and racism against Sen. Barack Obama.

Right. Never mind that McCain repeatedly tries to calm crowds and talk down those who say hateful things. It's reported as the right's anger out of control.

More to the point, I can't ever seem to recall anyone at the New York Times who was forceful in countering all the assassination fantasies (including feature films) against President Bush, who happens to get all the ire because he's a Republican. Jammie has the details on who has done what, including the incessant equivocation between Bush and being a terrorist. Some of those same people on the left who were wishing for a Bush assassination are now calling for the same with Obama. Bill Mahrer tries to use assassinations of VP Cheney and others as a punch line. I just call these people sick and deranged, but that they're out there and in numbers is quite troubling.

As usual The Volokh Conspiracy manages to get the point across in relatively few words:

So, of the hundreds of thousands of people who have attended McCain-Palin rallies, we have a grand total of four whose conduct is said to taint the campaigns. Heck, I can find four similarly unpleasant comments on a typical DailyKos thread.

People are so used to "The Angry Left" they barely notice it anymore because it has been such a common theme, for them to be angry little people, attacking whenever the whim strikes them, creating conspiracy theories and acting like children with there temper tantrums.

I guarantee you, "The Angry Right" will be a whole new ball game, because there is a difference between children getting angry and when adults get angry and by God it looks like the right is finally sick and tired of the idiocy on the left and the biased media.

It is about damn time.

[Update] More "anger" from the left as they vandalize York County GOP headquarters.
