The Associated Press reports that Brown has won the race, causing the biggest political upset in recent history.
In an epic upset in liberal Massachusetts, Republican Scott Brown rode a wave of voter anger to defeat Democrat Martha Coakley in a U.S. Senate election Tuesday that left President Barack Obama's health care overhaul in doubt and marred the end of his first year in office.
With 87% percent of the votes counted, Brown has 52.4 percent of the vote and Coakley has 46.6 percent.
The game is over and hopefully this is a sign of what November is going to look like for the Republicans vs Democrats.
I will bring you Brown and Coakley's speeches when they come out, either tonight or tomorrow.
Congratulations to Scott Brown. I said that before the polls closed, this morning, and I say it again. Job well done Senator Brown.
