Mass. Special Election Night Results. UPDATE- Coakley Concedes?



Reports are in that with 60 percent of the vote in Scott Brown (R) has 53 percent of the vote and Martha Coakley (D) holds 46 percent.

Precincts Reporting: 1,405 of 2,168 (65%)

Scott Brown (R) – 745,361 (52.7%)
Martha Coakley (D) – 654,070 (46.3%)
Joe Kennedy (I) – 14,171 (1.0%)

Fox News:

With 66 percent of precincts reporting, returns show Brown leading Democrat Martha Coakley 53-46 percent. Independent candidate Joseph Kennedy is pulling 1 percent.

Coakley leads among Boston voters, but Brown is doing better in suburban and rural districts.

Boston Globe is reporting that Coakley called Brown to concede.

Interactive map says 79 percent of precincts have reports and it is Brown 53.2 percent and Coakley 46.7 percent.

AP calls the race for Brown.
