Preserving America's Game, AI Framework, Nowruz, Democrat Shutdown Day 35, White House Garden Tours, Stamp Act of 1765, And More

By S.E. Gunn, PhDAll News Pipeline

On March 20, 2026, President Trump signed the EO Preserving America’s Game ordering:

Section 1 orders College Football Playoffs (CFP) and other postseason college football games not be scheduled the 2nd Saturday in December because that is the official date of "America's Game" aka the Army-Navy Game. Scheduling CFP games at the same time as America's Game detracts from the morale-building event of vital interest to the Department of War weakening the national focus on our Military Service Academies. It is now the policy of the US that CFP and other postseason games be broadcast in a manner that does not conflict with the Army-Navy Game.

Section 2 tasks the Secretary of Commerce and the Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to coordinate with the CFP Committee, the National Collegiate Athletic Association, related organizations, other appropriate Government agencies, and the playoffs' broadcast and media rights partners with the goal of establishing an exclusive window for the army-Navy Game, during which no other college football game is broadcast. The Chairman of the FCC shall consider reviewing the public interest obligations of broadcast licensees to determine whether those obligations would require that the Army-Navy Game remain a national service event.

I think this is just another way President Trump is supporting our military.

On March 20, 2026, the White House published the article President Donald J. Trump Unveils National AI Legislative Framework (the EO leading to this unveiling was previously discussed in my December 12, 2025 ANP Article). The National Policy Framework for Artificial Intelligence is available as a pdf here. The framework covers 6 broad topics:

  1. Protecting Children and Empowering Parents - calling for Congress to establish "age-assurance requirements" (I read this to mean provide your ID to prove you are an adult)
  2. Safeguarding and Strengthening American Communities (electricity costs were discussed in my March 10, 2026 and March 11, 2026 ANP Articles)
  3. Respecting Intellectual Property Rights and Supporting Creators - calling for access to all copyrighted material to train the AI system (but calling for the courts to address this issue)
  4. Preventing Censorship and Protecting Free Speech
  5. Enabling Innovation and Ensuring American AI Dominance
  6. Educating Americans and Developing an AI-Ready workforce
  7. Establishing a Federal Policy Framework, Preempting Cumbersome State AI Laws - believing each state deciding what they want to emphasize in their own state claiming conflicting regulations among states would undermine US innovation and the US's ability to lead in the global AI race.

Seems to me the Trump Administration's plan to 'negotiate with Congress' to get AI legislation passed is simply wishful thinking. Anything the Trump Administration wants triggers Democrat's TDS and they will fight against everything Trump no matter how ridiculous.

I know we talk about the UK arresting their citizens for posts critical of their government, their migration policies, or the migrants themselves. Many of those cases result in sentences longer than a migrant gets for raping a child. And we say "we have free speech, so that won't happen in the USA."

Item 4 of the above AI Framework specifically addresses free speech. We expect to have our 1st Amendment rights protected online. Yet, as The Civil Rights Lawyer explains in the case of Larry Bushart of Perry County, Tennessee; posting a meme that is interpreted as "violent" or "threatening" can cause you to spend 37 or more days in jail before the public clamors for your release. Now that the charges against him have been dropped, Larry is seeking justice for the violations of his 1st Amendment rights.

On March 20, 2026, the White House published the statement Presidential Message on Nowruz writing:

Today, I send my best wishes to every American celebrating Nowruz. Nowruz marks the start of the Persian New Year, celebrates the arrival of spring, and acknowledges the eternal triumph of light over darkness.  This ancient holiday also serves as a yearly reflection of the power of new beginnings. As we continue our righteous mission in the Middle East, I pray that this Nowruz will promote the causes of peace and human dignity on American shores and all across the world, and that the year ahead will be filled with many blessings. Nowruz Pirouz!

I understand logically that President Trump is attempting to not offend any religion of those residing in the US when providing statements acknowledging a religion's celebration. However, personally, I find it offensive where the dogma of Islam is concerned.

Islam is the 'religion' of hate, murder, beheadings, physical and sexual abuse of women and girls where it is ok to marry a 6-year old child then rape her when she turns 9. Back on December 23, 2025, I wrote an article about the Violence of Islam and on December 26, 2025, I wrote another article about defining what a 'religion' is because I think a 'religion' that is also a 'government' cannot co-exist with a Constitutional Republic. I would also find it offensive if the celebrations of Satanism were honored by my government as well. In addition, we do not 'celebrate' or 'honor' the holidays of other governments. Islam is a government under the guise of a religion. This needs to be addressed.

There is a problem with being "too inclusive" to the extent that you lose your national identity. And we are quickly reaching that point. There are many places where 'religious law' has replaced US law and other places where religious groups are forcing everyone else to vacate the area.

On March 20, 2026, the Office of the First Lady published the statement First Lady Melania Trump Announces 2026 Spring Garden Tours announcing the White House Gardens will be open Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 10am to 4:30pm and again Sunday, April 19, 2026 from 10am to 2:30pm on a first-come, first-served basis; however, while the event is free, a ticket is required. Timed tickets will be distributed by the National Park Service on both April 18 and 19 for that day's tour. The free tickets are one-per-person, first-come first-served basis issued the same day as the tour (no advance tickets will be issued). Contrary to President Trump's own statement that he would not sign any bills into law until the SAVE America Act passes (discussed in my March 10, 2026 ANP Article), on March 20, 2026, the White House posted the statement Congressional Bill S. 4138 Signed into Law.

S4138A bill to waive the 60-day notice requirement for the posthumous honorary promotion of Captain Cody Khork, United States Army was introduced by Roger F Wicker (R-MS) on March 18, 2026. The bill had 2 cosponsors (1 Republican and 1 Democrat) and was passed with unanimous consent. The bill simply states:

SECTION 1. Waiver of 60-day notice requirement for the posthumous honorary promotion of Captain Cody Khork, United States Army.

The 60-day notice requirement under section 1563a(b) of title 10, United States Code, is hereby waived for the purpose of the posthumous honorary promotion of Captain Cody Khork, United States Army, to the rank of major.

This bill made it through the Senate unanimously on March 18, 2026 then through the House unanimously on March 19, 2026. By March 20, 2026, the President signed it into law. Three days is all it took. Yet the SAVE America Act just barely passed the latest "let's talk about it" vote.

On March 20, 2026, the White House published the article Democrats’ DHS Shutdown Enters 35th Day as Airports Plunge into Chaos, Frontline Workers Suffer with 100,000 DHS employees working without pay (50,000 of them TSA agents). Up to 1/3 of TSA agents called in sick at airports in GA, TX, and LA. Wait time to be processed through TSA to board a flight is more than 2 hours.

The article explains that the damage of this DHS shutdown extends well beyond TSA at airports:

Critical DHS missions - including law enforcement operations, FEMA disaster response, cybersecurity protection, and other key functions - are being strained by unpaid workers, limited resources, and dangerous staffing shortfalls.

While Republicans in the Senate have been negotiating in good faith to fund DHS, Democrats reject these solutions and are demanding ICE be defunded, illegal aliens be shielded from deportation, illegals be given US Citizen benefits like SNAP, Housing, Medicare/Medicaid, etc., and other nationally unpopular stances.

LAWFARE lawsuit tracker to date:

  • 233 active cases

    • New York AG Letitia A James, dismissed without prejudice 11/24/2025,
    • Congressional candidate Katherine Abughazaleh

In the lawsuits State of New York v. Trump ; New York v. Trump docket # 25-1236; 25-1413 Appeal of 1:25-cv-00039 filed in Court of Appeals for the First Circuit on March 10, 2025 about Federal Funding Freeze where The government appealed Judge McConnell's preliminary injunction which requires that the Trump administration resume disbursements of congressionally authorized grants and funding. This case has been consolidated with the government's appealed Judge McConnell's denial of its motion to reconsider the court's order granted a motion to enforce the PI. On March 17, 2026, the PI was upheld in part and the mandate returned.

On March 18, 1766, the Stamp Act of 1765 aka Duties in American Colonies Act 1765 was repealed 4 months later. In 1765, Great Britain's Parliament imposed a direct tax on the British colonies in America. It also required that much of what was printed in the colonies be printed on paper from London that included an embossed revenue stamp. In addition, British currency, not colonial paper money, was required as payment. The tax monies collected were supposed to go to pay British military troops.

Of course, the colonists disagreed with both the tax and its use. The colonists thought London should pay for their own troops. Colonists considered this tax a violation of their rights. The slogan "no taxation without representation" became the rallying point against this British imposed tax.

Colonists were joined by British merchants and manufactures in their opposition to the Stamp Act of 1765, mostly because the colonists threatened to boycott their goods.

Parliament repealed the act on March 18, 1766. However, at the same time, they enacted the Declaratory Act of 1766 which basically said Britain could tax the colonies any way they wanted. This was followed by a series of new taxes and regulations for the colonies. This led to the Declaration of Independence and the American Revolution.

Now our own government taxes us at an average rate of about 33% of our income when all forms of taxes are included (Federal, State, & Local). So when is the next revolution?
