Via Fox News:Geraldine Ferraro, the first woman to run for vice president, has died of blood cancer, her family announced Saturday. She was 75.
Almost 13 years ago Ferraro was given 3-5 years to live according to doctors but new medications approved at the time allowed her to go into remission and live longer than originally projected.
