Seems the MSM was caught red handed in ignoring the story and they are trying to make up for it now by overloading the news reports with Edwards news.
All previous pieces on this written here at WUA will be listed at the bottom for those that need to catch up, but today we see that a friend of Rielle Hunter, Edwards' mistress, is stating that she believes the "love child" really is his.
Ms. O'BRIEN: I don't think my contact is particularly welcome at this point. She's in a very difficult place and I feel that she knows friends like me are out there thinking about her. I hope she understands that we all care for her so incredibly much and really want the best for her.
RODRIGUEZ: Do you think that John Edwards is the father of her daughter?
Ms. O'BRIEN: I do.
RODRIGUEZ: Why?
Ms. O'BRIEN: I don't see any other explanation. She would not have a child with someone that she didn't love, and she loves him.
Hardly proof, but since Hunter conveniently is refusing DNA tests, people that know her and knew of the affair are what will be seen until they come clean, which Edwards did not do in his so called confession.
Also in today's news, it is shown that John Edwards brought his mistress on his presidential campaign tour with him, but not his wife.
Photographs distributed by wire services and posted online by technology blogger Robert Scoble show that former North Carolina senator John Edwards took his mistress Rielle Hunter with him on the plane during his late 2006 presidential campaign announcement tour. As can be seen in this Dec. 28, 2006 photo (that's Hunter in the jeans and jester hat, as can be seen more clearly in this side-profile photo), Hunter stood off to the side of the national press corps filming Edwards as the former Democratic vice presidential nominee announced his second bid for the presidency in New Orleans.
Here she is drinking from a cup as Edwards is interviewed by the press. More photos of her at Edwards's presidential campaign kickoff can be found here and here, where she's shown laughing with Edwards's young staffers.
That is either very brave or very stupid... I vote for the latter.
DailyKos seems to be showing his maturity or lack thereof by refusing to un-ban the writer he banned because the he dared to write the truth about Edwards before the dam broke in the MSM.
Guess he still cannot admit when he is wrong....no big surprise there.
Now I think I know why I'm still banned. It's not just that I got the Edwards story right. More significantly, Markos got this story totally wrong and his wrongness set the tone over at Daily Kos for everyone who attacked me and who continue to attack me to this day.
Lies, cover-ups, lies to cover up the lies and lies while supposedly coming clean on the previous lies.
All just a couple of weeks before the Democratic convention.... now that is timing.
