Price of War

To say that the price of war equals the lives lost on 9/11 is an insult to every man and woman out there fighting for YOUR safety.
People tend to forget or ignore how many lives have been saved from our soldiers valiant battles.
As the UssNeverdock stated so well, what about the people saved in the following failed attempts?

Philippines - plot to blow up 11 airliners exposed - thousands would have died.
London - plan to fly plane into Parliament on 9/11 abondoned
Madrid - killed 191 people and injured a further 1700
Bali - killed 202 people and injured a further 209
London - Killed 52 people and injured a further 700
London - 21/7 bombs fail to detonate
Egypt - killed 88 people and injured a further 100
Jordan - killed 60 people and injured a further 120
London - Plan to blow up 11 Airplanes foiled thousands would have died

When are people going to wake up and understand that our soldiers need our support, not a bunch of left wing liberals telling them that what they are doing is a waste of time. Every war America has been involved in has had those that protest and spout off about how they would have handled it differently. Well ask them, our veterans, how they felt when they were protested against instead of being told how proud we are of them.
They fight every day for us and they do so willingly.... so why don't we start showing our gratitude by keeping our mouths shut about things we know nothing of?
For those that keep running off at the mouth like they have diareah, why don't YOU run for president and see how far you get and how many terrorist attacks you can foil, how many lives you can save? See where that gets us.

I am adding a comment I received from one of our brave soldiers :

Might want to add the nun that was shot to death going to work the other morning. After years toiling in some dirty hole in the wall country it took three of Allah's best and brightest to gun down the poor old gal as she returned for another thankless day of work.

thanks for the troop support.
