Disabled Man Tased By Police On City Bus In New York (Video)

By Susan Duclos

There have been some recent disturbing reports and videos showing  police brutality lately, with cops hitting children and families being terrorized in their own homes.

Today, highlighted by Michael Savage on his YouTube channel, comes the story of a disabled man unable to sit for long periods of time due to spinal injuries, was tased by Syracuse, New York police for standing on a bus.

Via the video details: Hulett suffers extensive disabilities stemming from injuries caused by being struck by a train years ago. He also had open heart surgery recently and feared that police tasers would harm his heart. He is suing because of excessive use of force.

Hulett was asked to leave the bus, refused and asked the police "for what reason?" After a minute of back and forth, the cop actually informs him he is going to taser him, then lifts the Hulett's shirt up and does exactly that.

Some might argue  his refusal to sit or leave the bus was argumentative, so the question here is whether tasing him was necessary or over-kill.

I will also point out that in the television interview, he is sitting in a chair.

Was the tasing justified or excessive use of force as Hulett's lawyer claims? You decide.
