Health Benefits Of Masturbation Are Universal

Whether you are a man or a woman, a liberal or a conservative, politics do not matter when it comes to the health benefits of masturbation.
Many might wonder what liberal and conservative or politics have to do with masturbation.

It is the source of the article that brings that into play. The FOXSexpert at Fox News.

As was mentioned when the link was sent to me, Fox News is generally thought of having a readership of "mostly conservative and/or Christian", yet, it is Fox that brings us the word that despite old wives tales that once claimed masturbation was bad for a person's health, the opposite is actually true.

Some of the old myths are being debunked. The claim that masturbation could lead to insanity, hysteria, blindness, hairy palms, acne, warts, hysteria and a slew of other negative health conditions, is outdated and properly put into the category of "old wives tales".

There are health benefits to women who pleasure themselves and for men who find their best girlfriend really is their own hand.

In 2007 there was an article that was summarized in Sexual and Relationship Therapy which showed that the health benefits of men "stroking their bloke", are improving the immune system's functioning, building up a resistance to prostate gland infections, helping to create a healthier prostrate and lowering a man’s risk of developing prostate cancer.
A survey of men found the more frequently a man masturbates between the ages of 20 and 50, the less likely they are to get prostate cancer. In fact, those who masturbated more than five times a week were one-third less likely to develop prostate cancer.

For women that like to "dance in the bushes" alone, there are also some health benefits, such as building a resistance to yeast infections, fighting off pre-menstrual tension and other conditions associated with their period, like cramps, increasing blood flow to the pelvic region which relieves painful menstruation, reducing pelvic cramping and related backaches, helping to relieve chronic back pain and increasing the threshold for pain.

Then there are universal benefits for men and women that enjoy a little "alone time with themselves" which are:

Masturbation rewards both men and women because it’s:

— The safest kind of sex, keeping you free of sexually transmitted infections.
— A great form of stress relief.
— A mood booster in releasing endorphins.
— A natural sleep sedative.
— A mechanism for building stronger pelvic floor muscles, which can lead to better sex.
— A natural energetic pick-me-up.

There are more mental and physical benefits listed and the article was written by Dr. Yvonne KristĂn Fulbright is a sex educator, relationship expert, columnist and founder of Sexuality Source Inc. She is the author of several books including, "Touch Me There! A Hands-On Guide to Your Orgasmic Hot Spots."

Ladies and gentlemen, it doesn't matter if you are male or female, religious or not religious, liberal or conservative, homosexual or heterosexual, the health benefits of "floating your own boat" are universal according to Dr. Fulbright.

Have you had your orgasm today?
