Poor Barack Obama Just Can't Catch A Break Today

It has been a bad day for Barack Obama.

Ok, so a bad two days. Yesterday one of his campaign aides, Susan Rice, admitted that neither Barack Obama OR Hillary Clinton was ready for that "3am call", and of course, we posted it just for giggles.

Today I wake up to see that another Obama adviser, Samantha Power, called Hillary Clinton a monster... I was like, so??? She is.

Obama had to distance himself from that very quickly and then she resigned.... but did she resign because of the "monster" remark, or another comment that came out during an interview. (Correction made)

The discussion hit upon Barack Obama's promise to remove all troops from Iraq within 16 months of becoming president...thats when Ms. Powers, god love her, said:

What he’s actually said, after meting with the generals and meeting with intelligence professionals, is that you – at best case scenario – will be able to withdraw one to two combat brigades each month. That’s what they’re telling him. He will revisit it when he becomes president," Power says.

The host, Stephen Sackur, challenged her:"So what the American public thinks is a commitment to get combat forces out in 16 months isn't a commitment isn't it?"

"You can’t make a commitment in March 2008 about what circumstances will be like in January of 2009," she said. "He will, of course, not rely on some plan that he’s crafted as a presidential candidate or a U.S. Senator. He will rely upon a plan – an operational plan – that he pulls together in consultation with people who are on the ground to whom he doesn’t have daily access now, as a result of not being the president. So to think – it would be the height of ideology to sort of say, 'Well, I said it, therefore I’m going to impose it on whatever reality greets me.'"

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPS.

Think those three things gave Obama a headache?

We aren't done yet!!!

Former CIA official John Brennan, an intelligence adviser to Barack Obama's presidential campaign, broke with Obama about the telecom immunity issue.

Obama voted to strip language in an intelligence bill that would have granted to Verizon, AT&T and other companies immunity, but his intelligence adviser says:

"I do believe strongly that [telecoms] should be granted that immunity. They were told to [cooperate] by the appropriate authorities that were operating in a legal context."

"I know people are concerned about that, but I do believe that's the right thing to do."

How do you like them apples?

Not done with Obama yet, no worries though, I will turn to Hill BABY, as soon as I am done looking at how bad the day has been for Obama.

Gotta be fair, you know?

Looks like more bad news for Obama from the Washington Times, which shows that more Democrats are willing to vote for John McCain than Republicans are willing to cross over and vote for Obama.

Thats ok, Hillary Clinton's day hasn't been much better, she wakes up to see she has been called a "monster", although I am sure she has been called worse, very often so that cannot be too bad huh?

Worse though, she finds out that her brilliantly thought out infamous 3am ad, has, as many of said it would, HELPED ....... John McCain!!

BACKFIRE!!!!!!!!

To rub salt in the gushing wound, Randy Scheunemann, who is overseeing foreign policy issues for John McCain's campaign told the Clinton campaign to please KEEP running those 3 am ads!!!

That's how Randy Scheunemann, who is overseeing foreign policy issues for John McCain's campaign, just summed up the obvious in a Council on Foreign Relations event here in Washington. After Mara Rudman, who is advising Hillary Clinton, very briefly addressed the issue of Clinton's foreign policy experience, Scheunemann chimed in with:

Please keep running those 3:00 A.M. ads about who you want to answer the phone, because we like those."

In other words, the more Clinton and Obama keep talking about how inexperienced the other is, the more it sticks for both.

LOL!!!!!!!!

If that isn't enough to even out her bad day with Obama's, well she now has to face reports that the Clinton's papers, you know the ones that were supposed to be released so she could appear transparent and all that jazz?

Well, the release of those papers have been blocked.

Guess that transparency thing isn't all it is cracked up to be and just not that important, now is it?

Last but not least, not directly related specifically to Obama or Clinton, yet they are being accused of "lack of leadership" over the FISA issue, which the left is again atwitter about because they feel they are being sold down the river because the plan floating around that looks like it will be passed, includes telecom immunity.

Is it any wonder Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are going to take a couple days of "down time".

They have been beat up on this week so badly, they probably feel like they need a hospital stay to recover.

No worries.. Monday is a whole new week and I, for one, am looking forward to see what other asinine ad, remark or fumble these two morons are going to give us for entertainment.
